- What is our recourse if we see LEO making a "false alert?” If a cop gets caught doing a "false alert" with the K- 9, what punishment would he typically receive, if any? If I see it happen, what could I do? Is there a way to prove that the officer was causing a false alert just by looking at the video? Suppose we wanted to escalate that issue, would it just go to internal affairs? Would we be allowed to review the video being shot in the police car to help my defense? Is there any recourse to stop these false alerts?

- Are police dogs neutered? Do police prefer male or female dogs? Would you recommend that we travel with female dogs in heat in order to throw off male sniffer dogs? (I’m allergic to cats.)

- If the police officer asks me to remove my dog from the car, so that they can have their K-9 search the exterior of my car, am I legally required to oblige their request? If I refuse, could I be charged with some type of obstruction or interfering with a police investigation?

- Is it considered obstruction if the officer suspects that I am somehow manipulating their dog without any type of overt movement or sound? Could they prove this in court? No answer. If the dog doesn’t know where it’s at then why would the handler know? i mean if the dog cant find it and he can smell his way to the stash…what makes the handler think he can?

- What are cops looking for when they tell us to “follow my pen with just your eyes…”? Can the person taking the test “influence” the outcome? This seems like another BS test that has whatever result the officer says it does. After all, no one can see a person’s eyes on the dash-cam.

- I frequently ride my bicycle on the road. Could a police officer pull over a cyclist riding a bicycle? Can a cop pull me over and request to search my bicycle, considering the marijuana was hidden out of view – maybe in the top-tube or something?

- I drove 8,200 miles across the country from Oregon to Maine then down to Florida. I now have 15,000 miles on my motorcycle, which is a cruiser style, and never have been pulled over once. I was wondering where motorcycles stand in the profiling mix?

- Barry, would you say the majority of the stops and/or searches you conducted took place in the day time or night time? I'm not sure if I've got some sort of security blanket, but I always felt safer picking up bud in the day time than at night time.

- Is smelling marijuana always a “probable cause” to search someone? I mean, any LEO who really wants to catch a load can stop anyone they want, claim that they smell marijuana, and then begin searching them. If the person did not have marijuana, the LEO lets him go. However, if the person did have marijuana, the person searched is now screwed in a court of law and cannot file a motion to suppress evidence as the officer "smelled" the marijuana in the first place, giving him probable cause to search.

- In profiling section of the Never Get Busted DVD, Barry stated that a vehicle with DARE or “We Support…” stickers was a huge red flag. Can anyone tell me how law enforcement views any of the firemen-related stickers, such as the fireman helmet emblem?

- A friend of mine has a stove vent in his basement going into the chimney. Would a filter made of crushed charcoal in cheese cloth stuffed into the stove vent work for odor control for say three or four plants in a sealed grow space?

- I plan on growing in a basement. Do you think a filter and venting it up a chimney would do the trick? Will a fly-over see the heat coming out of my chimney and will they see the out side wall glowing?
