- So if I put a few pounds of weed into Foodsaver bags, then put the Foodsaver bags into the vacuum sealed Foodsaver jars, then put the jars into an airtight safe in my trunk, how much time would you imagine I would have before it would be detectable by dogs, being that I did everything right and nothing was touched with weed dust?

- If you smoke marijuana in your car, will it produce an alert from a dog? Is there any way of cleansing your car so that it will not induce a dog to alert?

- What if a cop asks to search your car and you say that you are in a rush and that you’re late for work or something, and you don’t have time for the search. Would they still call in a K-9 unit?

- If they call in a K-9 unit, can the dog smell you to see whether you have drugs on you, or do they just have the dog direct its attention to the vehicle? Were would an officer have the person stand if they do call in a dog to smell your vehicle? Also, if you hide your stash in your butt crack, can they go down there and find it if you have done nothing wrong and have no reason to be brought down to the station?

- There are so many varieties and compounds within varieties of marijuana that produce different effects. How can a dog be trained to detect them? Is their toy scented with a sampling of as many varieties as the trainer can obtain, and do they have to frequently re-scent the toy? Or is there a fundamental scent carried on all types of it?

- I believe detection lies in packaging and preparation first, regardless of external conditions, be it a distraction or otherwise.
