It’s all a word-of-mouth deal. Ask your friends first. If you don’t have friends who know
any dealers, then get to know people who do. It’s best to talk to people in social
environments. When talking to folks, be sure that you don’t look, talk, or act like a kop,
but don’t fit the stereotype of a druggie either. Get to know people. Build relationships.
Build bonds of rapport.
Approach young, middle class people at house parties, concerts, bowling allies, coffee
bars, pubs, or the beach. Talk with the wait staff at restaurants. The service industry is a
priceless resource, but stick to those you know and see where you can take it. Be
prepared for people to say no.
Learn the lingo. Use this phrase to approach people: “I'm looking for a street, and I can't
find it. It's Four Twenty and Pine Street. Can you help me out?” If you don't find herb
within a certain time limit like an hour, then leave and try again later. You don't want
kops to hear about what you've been doing. If you smell bacon in the area, abort mission.
If you ask someone who you don’t know but who might be a dealer on the phone, don’t
be surprised if he says that he don’t have weed and hangs up. Chances are he might have
had weed, but he didn’t trust you because you don’t know each other, and you gave them
a weird feeling. How you ask is just as important as your tone and body language when
you talk with someone in person.
If you have access to a high volume dealer, and he doesn’t want to deal with smaller
quantities, ask him to hook you up with someone farther down the food chain who does.
Also, you risk getting ripped off or busted if you buy from the street. If you have to go to
a friend who has to wait at his sister’s friend’s house for her dealer to drop off an ounce
just so you can get a 1/4oz sack, then you are going to pay premium for swag. -
