I have mixed feelings about money orders. The only safe money order is a USPS postal
money order. They never expire, as do most of the others out there. While they are safe,
and can be cashed at any post office or bank, you are going to create suspicion going to
the post office every day and purchasing $1,000.00 money orders. Most towns have only
one or two post offices, so sooner or later your face is going to become well known.May 4, 2026 at 6:24 am in reply to: Should I go to Las Vegas or Atlantic City to launder the money? #34929Barry Neal Cooper

You could take a trip to Las Vegas or Atlantic City. Buy a buttload of chips, gamble a bit
and cash them in. There is a threshold where they must collect taxes on it, but it is pretty
liberal. Don't fear the taxman here; it helps legitimize the cash. You can fly to Vegas for
cheap from almost anywhere in the country.May 4, 2026 at 6:23 am in reply to: I have a minimum wage job. I share rent with a friend. What’s an easy way to launder money? #34928Barry Neal Cooper

What you are talking about is defeating Anti-Money Laundering (AML) measures.
According to the 2008 AML rules, your bank account will get red flagged if you deposit
$10,000 at once. Deposits that look like an attempt to circumvent the $10,000 limit are
also flagged, such $9,999.99 deposited at once or two $5,000 deposits made on
consecutive days. Also, checks and casher’s checks over $10,000 have to be processed
through the Federal Reserve system. Any suspicious activity must be reported to the
AML specialists for review. No notification of the review is given, so you never know if
some one thought it looked suspicious.
Also, if you deposit the money into your stock account and try to buy stocks, there will
be an AML review with the bank, broker, or a clearing house corporation. In other words,
too many people would be looking. The same goes for brokerage and trading accounts:

If you still have a day job, deposit your paycheck in one bank account and spend the
cash. Use this cash to pay your bills like rent, utilities, car, etc. Open second checking
account at another bank. In his second account, deposit $8,000 in $1 bills each pay day,
and then claim it as “tips” on your taxes.May 4, 2026 at 3:58 am in reply to: On “Cops,” they raided a field. The lead guy counted 3,000 plants and said that street price of it is multi-million dollars. But 3,000 plants at four pounds each is 12,000 pounds total, and 12,000 pounds at $4,000 is still only $480,000. How do LEOs determine the "street value" of seized property? #34924Barry Neal Cooper
Keymaster[ARCHIVE ANSWER]
Your math is wrong. It’s actually $48,000,000. However, A realistic figure would be
1,500 lbs (1/2 per plant) at $2,500. That’s $3,750,000. An even more realistic figure
would be low end estimate of 1/4lb per plant, (750lbs) at $2,500,which would still bring
it to almost $ 2 million.
At 750 lbs., you’re talking lots of 10s, 20s, and 50s. So, depending on strain and care and
dry and manicure, 2,000-3,000 lbs more or less is realistic. If sold in 100lb lots, it would
possibly be $2,000 or less depending on local market.
That said, it's all bullshit because you’re talking about how kops count. Inflating the
worth of narcotics seized has always been drastic and unfair. This is done to get the
numbers up for statistics which "proves" government seizure programs are "working."
And if programs are "working," more money will be funded to continue even though the
funding was based on false data.Barry Neal Cooper

When it comes to grow operations, you usually have a fixed price per plant that assumes
that the plant, when mature, will produce X number of buds and bring in X amount of
dollars. The dollar amount varies according to location and to the type of plant if a
specific strain can be identified.
In a generic sense, the main difference in price will be regional. For example, one can
expect to pay $21,000-$26,000 for a kilo of cocaine, but if one were to buy the same kilo
in Florida, they might pay $14,000-$18,000.Barry Neal Cooper

Prices generally depend on a few factors, such as quality, quantity, and your geographic
location.
In general it seems to me that the wholesale price for mids is about $100 a pound. With
the addition of middlemen and the application of distance from the border, it eventually
finds its way up to $1,000 a pound, with street dealers peddling off the ounces at $100 or
so an ounce once the drugs have been distributed out from the wholesale level to the user
level, with $20 for a eighth not being that bad.
For Canadian mass-produced bud, prices start at $1,000 a pound or cheaper at the
wholesale level. By the time they make it across the border, it increases to $2,700 to
$3,200. By the time they get broken down ounces range from $180 to $250 an ounce,
depending on inflation along the line, and cost about $35-$50 an eighth, depending again
on quality and who’s hooking you up. Other strains of Canadian bud, dealers may try and
charge $40-$60 for an eighth.
Generally, anything homegrown indoors is $40-$60, usually in the $50-$60 end. Sexy
outdoors is generally the same. Again, wholesale prices for pounds of kind bud vary,
depending on who wants to charge you what for how much, but expect to pay $3,000-
$5,000 for premo bud unless you are getting the hookup.Barry Neal Cooper

The largest concern for a person ordering seeds is being flagged as a grower if caught. I
don't see evidence of the Feds getting too excited about a person receiving seeds. We all
know from Marc Emery's case that they are more interested in the selling of seeds.
When ordering online, use gift cards, pre-paid credit cards, or a postal money order.
These are untraceable. Make your order from a computer other than your own like one at
a public library. On your ordering information, use a public email address, not a business
email.
To keep your mailman from gaining suspicion on the shipping address, use a real name or
some initials but not your real name. Never have the seeds mailed to your own house or
your grow location. Instead, have them mailed to a girlfriend, a friend, or business.
Never require a signature when your parcel is delivered. If you need to require a signature
for some reason, have someone else sign other than yourself for it upon delivery. If
you’re having your order shipped from outside your country, be patient. Be willing to
wait for a time before you complain to the vender.
Never order super large quantities at once, especially from one site. Break them up over a
number of trusted sites. This way, you reduce your risk of losing everything at once; plus,
you draw less suspicion to yourself.
Also, buy female seeds. It might be more expensive up front, but you’ll save money in
the long run because if you clone your females, you won’t be buying seeds so often.
Lastly, if you get your package without your seeds, expect that there will be a letter
explaining that your seeds were confiscated. Do not go to the post office to complain and
reclaim your seeds. It’s not worth getting caught.
You should have to worry about the seeds getting crushed. Seed companies package the
seeds so they can’t get hurt. Don’t worry about the seeds getting X-rayed either. X-rays
don’t hurt the seeds.

Most of the products like “Legal Bud” contain no THC and won't get you high. It has the
same looks, same smell, same taste, but there’s no high.
On the other hand, there are very few websites that do sell real marijuana online. A few
have advertised in High Times and CC magazines. They sell at extremely high prices and
won't usually sell more than an ounce. One website sold real marijuana but it was about
$500 an ounce. They also make you get a "secure" email address.
Years ago the assumption was that it was completely safe to purchase small amounts
because the belief was that LEOs had neither had the resources or the desire to go after
small-timers. This wasn't true. Homes were raided with warrants issued for "suspicious
mail volume."Barry Neal Cooper

Try the subways to find herb. Being able to pop into one section of Los Angeles and then
popping out of another spot in LA some 40 miles away is great for get-a-ways. Try at

$60 for the assessment. Thirty minutes later you’ll be heading to your room with a smile

That’s up to you. Some dealers smoke their own stash. Others don’t. Some will smoke it
thinking that it’s free smoke; but others don’t because they don’t want it to cut into their
profits. Some that smoke will keep the best buds for themselves; others will sell their best
buds for higher profits. Some believe that it’s uncool to keep the best buds and sell your
boys the inferior buds. At the end, it’s your business.May 4, 2026 at 3:54 am in reply to: I would be interested in helping produce a DVD. Maybe we can call it, “How To Grow Your Retirement. For The Concerned Baby Boomer!” #34917Barry Neal Cooper

Growing as a whole is not a cheap venture nor is it an easy one. The risk is enormous.
The majority of growers that do it for the money aren't making any money. If you’re looking to make $100,000 a year, that’s roughly 30 lbs. of product at $3,300
per. That's minus your set up, your supplies, the risk of procuring ongoing supplies,
power, space (i.e. rental/mortgage), and the cumulative hours of your time. Doesn't seem
so attractive anymore, does it?
If you’re serious about growing, don’t think about the money first. Instead, let your
relationships take their course and focus on the operation. Don't think that you can set up
a grow and get rich instantly.
The idea is to not rely on your commercial grow. What would happen if you had to shut it
down for a time? Could you walk away tomorrow and be fine? Could your operation
even be disassembled in one day? Some walk away from growing after learning the
basics of growing.Barry Neal Cooper

You could try to sell it all to a single person dried and cured well. Or you could set up
someone else to handle everything. Your friends could call him if they need something.
No one would ever receive anything direct from you, nor would you have product on
hand.
Another aspect is if you had 10 plants on hand, stored eight somewhere, and only
provided your guy with two. Again, insulate your cash and your product, and, as volume
increases, so do layers and storage. -
