I think it's great that we know about handlers causing false alerts. However, wouldn't it be almost impossible to convince a judge or jury that although contraband was found in your vehicle, that the dog didn't really find it?

I think a judge will someday be convinced to suppress the evidence if the dog alerting was video taped and a trainer explains how the dog was talked into the alert. This has never been tried in court before but will be coming soon.
