K-9s are not trained to sniff out LSD. All drug dogs are trained on is marijuana (includes hash and keif), cocaine, meth and heroin. These are the only four.
A person is totally safe around K-9's when in possession of mushrooms or LSD unless these substances have been contaminated with the odor of one of the four listed above.
