...he smoked, but didn't inhale? As a cop, or narc this would be true.
Barry, have you ever broke the law in an act of civil disobedience as an activist? The reason I ask is because you bring up breaking laws to change the laws in this interview?

I'm pretty sure the "didn't inhale" thing was a joke in reference to politicians dodging the issue. |

The "smoke but not inhale" comment is a joke referencing our former president (personally I like Bill Clinton and am not poking at him)

My attorneys were unable to decide if I could be indicted for releasing my DVD or not. I boldly continued my efforts with the risk of being placed in jail and released the film anyway. After the release of the DVD, we learned I am protected by the First Amendment.
Great to have you on the board Richard! I think you guys at the Marijuana Party are doing a good job!

Thanks for the quick reply, and kind words, Barry.
OH, I know you were making a joke with your comment about smoking, but not inhaling.
The reason I posted my question was I thought it was bold of you to tell others to break marijuana laws, and as far as I know you never have, after you started working in law enforcement.
I have smoked up in front of a Federal Courthouse, County Courthouse, The Canadian Consulate Building in Chicago, and in many public places. I have grown weed and sold weed, and I would never tell others they need to break the law. But I do agree with you that the millions that use marijuana need to come out and show their love for this plant even if it does mean breaking some government law.
Peace, Pot, One Love,
Rich |
