The cops don't limit their misdeeds to narcotics cases. In many cases they are motivated by ethnocentrism, racism or xenophobia. In family matters it is well known that, as far as American law enforcement is concerned, the woman is always right. Even when she is wrong.
We were motivated to address this problem by a case of missing child fraud involving a Greek child whose mother in Michigan made a big fuss around 2004 or 2005 about her child being missing, but in the end the truth came out that the child was never missing at all. The father was exonerated of all charges in Europe, the mother was arrested and convicted of criminal libel. Despite all this the cops in Michigan are, of course, still itching to arrest the custodial father, and continue to mislead the public by distributing posters claiming that this child is missing, even though the mother lived next door to their child in Greece for three whole years starting in 2005! Basically it is just a setup to try to arrest the father without any probable cause, to strip him of his parental rights, and to cause whatever economic damage to him that they can.
