| I know it is not a tip or trick for not getting busted but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions regarding cleaning a water pipe? Any specific cleaners that work well or tricks to get those hard to reach places would be appreciated. I haven't smoked in a while and took a visit to the old pipe to find some "growth" for lack of a better term on the inside. I'm not sure if it was mold or what but I used hot water to clean up most of it. I thought maybe I would take a little better care going forward. It's a pretty nice piece so I would like to keep it for a while, as long as I don't break it. It's no hurricane but it has always been good to me. |

soak it in alcohol,,alcohol and hot water have always worked just fine for me

get some pipe cleaners 
their ability to reach into tough areas makes clean up a breeze!
I can usually clean my bowls with JUST hot water + a pipe cleaner.
they work wonders.
all those years I never knew why they were called pipe cleaners.. ahhh |

I'm willing to bet that this probably has alcohol in it...It's probably expensive too. |
