Authorities found 2,700 marijuana plants in the Los Gatos mountains during a raid on Thursday, the Santa Clara County Sheriff Marijuana Eradication Team said.
Sheriff's officers went up to the pot farm location at 1000 Alma Bridge Road, just off of Hwy. 17, and saw three suspects, authorities said.
Two of the suspects ran away and are still on the loose and one was caught , authorities said.
The suspect was taken away in a dangling basket from the pot grove and transported to a helicopter hovering overhead, authorities said.
The eradication team, with the California Department of Justice C.A.M.P, raided the farm as part of its ongoing raids that will take place in Santa Clara County this year, authorities said.
The operations are one of the ways law enforcement said it works to fight the ongoing problem of marijuana cultivation in Santa Clara County
