I watched a video of some farmers cloning there plant during late flowering.
Are there any downsides to doing this? |

Farther you go (veg to flower), less desirable due to rooting issues.....People clone in flower (I never have)...but, looking at a while to root, reveg, and, varies with different strains (some difficult to clone to begin with...)
Not something I have extensive experience with, but know it's obviously done, indoors and out... |

| I only clone during veg state. As a matter of fact my mothers have never been flowered. Besides the fact that you will have a better result at the end you can also adapt the plant to your conditions better when you replace your mothers with new cuttings. This way the plant gets better and better with each generation by getting better accustomed with your environment and nutrients that you use. |
