|
|
|
I have a 3/4 sleeve tribal tattoo that goes down my right arm.
my question is, do cops view tattoos as a bad thing, or do they not even think about it?
btw, i have *never* been pulled over in the 5 years i've been driving.
should i wear long sleeve shirts while driving?
Thanks |

| Hmm...good question. Many cops have tattoos so it is quite possible that they will not profile you just on the tats. In fact, it is rarely just one thing that causes a cop to go after you...it is usually a culmination of many observations the cop makes in a short amount of time. Bottom line...there is really no way to tell if a cop is going to pull you just for the tats. You may have just driven by the one cop in your whole county that thinks that tats are indicators of a satan worshipper or something and you are just gonna get stopped..lol |

| I can say that ive seen Akron,OH leos with visible tattoos. One i saw had a tribal piece around his elbow.Thats cool though that the department allows that even for cops in uniform. |

and that would be a pretty stupid thing to do,pull someone over cause they might worship the devil.thats the kind of story the news channel 5 eye-team loves. |

Cop's definatley look at tattoo's as a profile.
The fourth I was with mine and a buddy's family.
We have tatoo's the old gangster black ones all over our bodies.Someone threw a explosive firework not but 15 seconds later the bike cops came looked at us and asked us which one of us threw it.
At the time I was playing with an infant. My buddy was on the phone with his grandma. It ended up being a 10 year old kid that did it.
I know we were talked to because of our tattoo's. Actually it could have been our crooked hats. Everyone hats crooked hats. |

| I'm covered in tattoos & I get the same mixed reactions from cops that I get from everybody else here in Utah. Once, when I first moved out here I had to go get a SS card or something & as I was standing in line a cop came over to me & said "OK, let's see what we got here." & he started looking me over ... then he said "Alright, that's some good work you got there." and that was that. when I lived in Georgia before I moved out here - I used to get looks from cops like they were gonna beat the living shit outta me 'cause of all my tattoos - but the people in Georgia, even in the Atlanta area were much more hostile toward my tattoos than I've ever experienced out here. |
