| well i have a radar detector on my windsheild. does this cause any suspicion for the cop? is he more likely to pull you over? |

They are against the law in some states, Virginia for one. |

| i honestly dont even speed. maybe 2-5 over the limit, but thats not really speeding. i just got it becuase i want to know when they are around me. |

If you get pulled over, don't tell the officer that.
Say an officer pulls you over, comes up to the car and says, "How fast were you goin' there, buddy?". You say, "Sir, I was only going 3 mph over the speed limit. I thought that was ok." You just admitted to breaking the law. They might not pull you over for doing it, but def don't incriminate yourself if this happens. |
