| Why not get some test strips and experiment since its been so long since you smoked. You can find out just how long your body will test positive with or without various techniques. |

I had to stop smoking for a little while as well. I need to find a better job and all of the good ones around here require a drug test This is my 6th day without it. |

| My theory on drug tests is I dont beleive in them and am not interested in any job that is contingent on me passing one.But i understand that does not work for every one.My ambitions lie outside of the traditional "career path". |

Welcome to the forum!
I agree with you philosophically but in practice it is difficult sometimes. At least has been for me once or twice! |

| thanx for the welcome socrateez.I agree it's difficult to pull off sometimes.I can get away with it cause i work low skill level jobs. One thing that my friends and I have noticed is that alot of employers bluff about drug tests. They say they do them but never do.I should make one correction though,I dont have a problem with cheating a drug test, they just dont get my urine. |

Same here! There are a few high skilled in a low skill workplace jobs Ive found that give me tremendous freedom for the same reasons you cite.
There are jobs that it is hard enough to get sober people even to show up and work . Ive worked in facets of the automotive industry and a lot of very skilled people expressed their talent more efficiently on Cannabis.
Some bluff or state random testing with cause. I don't use mine either. Background checks used to be that way but are becoming very commonplace now.
Hell, I had a "SECRET" Security clearance while in the service. They performed essentially the same type of investigation then, as you undergo now to try and work at fucking Walmart! |

Cause ever since all the mexicans got busted A convicted felon (ME) can't get a job there. they will let some of the dumbest slowest people I have ever met talk to you about guns or make you wait 39 minutes in a check out when I could smoke a joint socialize and be quick as shit.
They are a equal Oppurtunity employer. MY ASS |

That sucks.
The vocalist of my band works in a metal shop where they make handrails for big companies. He said they hire people from prison all the time. They get paid well too. |

Yea alot of the big chain places wont hire convicted felons.A friend of mine had the same problem with McDonalds, last i heard he was running a temp service website. You will usually have better luck with smaller or independently owned places.believe it or not alot of trailer parks wont allow convicted felons to move in,and will actually evict you if you're convicted of one after you move in.I live in one now,(and it sucks and i'm moving soon) and they ask in like two different places on the application if you have drug convictions. |
