Marijuana Kills Cancer Cells! And why i'm so Angry

Now my story:
This makes me so mad... I have to share it with you all…
I have been looking into medicinal marijuana for a while now and I have come across tons of research that supports marijuana as a natural therapeutic substance..
As declared my Francis Young an administrative law judge with the D.E.A in 1988
“Cannabis in its natural state is the safest therapeutic substance known.” Period.
Cannabis was listed in the United States Pharmacopeia from 1850 until 1942 and had widespread use in Europe and the U.S.A by doctors and pharmacies and was prescribed for many illnesses from headaches to anxiety. As it was listed as an Analgesic and sedative.
It can be googled or researched further if you’re interested in all of the uses found.
But what angers me and what strikes me as odd is more recent studies and findings that THC can and has been proven to kill tumorous cancer cells in patients. It inhibits brain tumor cell growth and kills what cells are already there and it can cut lung cancer tumor cells down by 50% and prevent further growth. In the above documentary about Rick Simpson, this man found a cure for cancer, in natural hemp oil at a concentrated level (not smoked) and was found guilty by the supreme court, even though he had 10 patients and 6 doctors ready to testify all were dismissed not even given a chance. Why would the government not be willing to hear a man that found a cure for cancer and many other diseases? Why is the government running from the cure? And the government and their mob fronts like the DEA and FDA are not giving it the consideration it deserves , I mean that kind of medical breakthrough is huge! right? That should warrant some Oprah air time or at least some sort of marijuana reform. At the least the Federal Government could retract their former statement that marijuana has no accepted medical use.
At least there is some progress A recent study showing that marijuana can be an effective painkiller has promoted an advocacy group to challenge federal rules that state that the drug has no accepted medical use.
The Associated Press reported Feb. 22 that Americans for Safe Access, a medical-marijuana advocacy group, is suing the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and its subsidiary agency, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court, says that HHS has engaged in "arbitrary and unlawful behavior" and prevented "sick and dying persons from seeking to obtain medicine that could provide them needed, and often lifesaving relief."
What’s going on? what side is the government on? Do they really want a cure for cancer, Aids and other illnesses? Anyways that’s my rant for today. I would love to hear more of your thoughts on the issue. I am including some of the nuggets I’ve discovered on the net.
Study Finds THC Cuts Growth of Lung-Cancer Tumors

Research Summary
THC, the main active ingredient in marijuana, cuts lung-cancer tumor growth
in half and prevents cancer from spreading, according to a new animal study.
WebMD reported April 18 that researchers from Harvard University injected THC
into mice with lung cancer and found that their tumors shrank about 50 percent
over three months when compared to mice
that didn't receive the drug. The results "suggest THC has therapeutic potential,"
said lead researcher Anju Preet, Ph.D.
Preet said that THC attaches to endocannabinoids found in cancer cells and
activates their natural anti-inflammatory properties, hindering cancer cell growth.
The research was presented at the annual meeting of the American Association
for Cancer Research.
Because the federal government says marijuana has no legitimate medical use,
users in states that have passed medical-marijuana laws are still subject to arrest
and prosecutionunder federal drug laws.
In a study published last week in the journal Neurology, researchers from the University
of California at San Francisco reported that HIV patients given marijuana suffered less pain
than a group of patients who received placebos.

"The more money you spend on cancer, the more cancer you get," says Dr. Sam Epstein, cancer expert and author of The Politics of Cancer "The more drugs are bought, the higher the profit. The more disease there is, the greater the profit."
The Canadian Cancer Society says; "The ultimate goal of basic cancer research is twofold:
"coming up with the rare, "breakthrough" discovery that will help prevent, control or even cure cancer...
contributing a small but significant bit of knowledge that will help other scientists as they work on their own piece of the cancer puzzle." but, even though 8 Canadians die every hour from various cancers, they reply;"The Society does not endorse or support medical products or dietary supplements...thanks for the information. We wish you luck in your work."
Rick Dwyer in an interview with Global TV 8 October 2006.
"I don't care if the medicine comes from a tomato plant, potato plant or a hemp plant, if the medicine is safe and helps and works, why not use it?" he asks.
Dwyer claims he has seen the healing effects first-hand. His father, Ed, a military veteran suffering from lung cancer, is using it.
"Last time I was in [25 June 2006], I didn't know it, but they said I was gonna die in 24 hrs,” says Ed Dwyer. “But I didn't. I took the oil and everything worked out right."

That is asinine,the pharmaceutical industry will fight off any attempt to "cure" cancer,the longer cancer is around the more money to be made,Period.
on another note,the recent studies I have come across that cannabis staves off dementia,add to one more reason I have to never give it up. Dementia runs in my Fathers family,and he passed away from the worst case I have ever seen(although He was in Vietnam,and did come in contact with agent orange)the V.A. deemed what killed him,as pneumonia attributed to pre-senial dementia (formally referred to as altzhiemers disease)I really think agent orange was the real culprit. |

Great story! Can be related to the rising prices of gas, If we use a different type of energy such as solar power,hydrogen or bio-diesal, whos gonna lose money? BIG OIL COMPANIES, or "THE BIG BUSINESSES" The American Government doesnt give two shits about the American people really if you think about it. They let cancer patients suffer from expensive procedures, AIDS/HIV patients paying for expensive medications. All they care about is making outrageous profits milking them of every penny while there is a beautiful plant out there that will and does heal many.
Besides, its a god damn plant, not to mention a beautiful one

I just watched Run From a Cure and I am not the least bit surprised. It is after all our government at work here.
I just hope to God I never have to look in my child's eyes and say "yes. baby, there is a cure that will keep you from dying, but I can't help you. My government won't let me"
Wonder how many parents, given the choice, would go to jail to save their child's life? That is the bottom line as I see it. 
Explain to me the difference between this and what Hitler did?
