okay so one night me and 2 of my friends are goin to this keger at some kids house. we all decide to get in a circle and smoke a joint before we go in so we are sitting behind the house about 50 yards by a creek. we are just sitting there talkin laughin and we see these 2 adults about 30 years of age and it seems a little suspicious. well we just though we were paranoid cause of the potent joint we are smokeing. the 2 adults just walk past us but are kind hangin around like walkin past us a few times. all the sudden they just walk up and reach into there coats and pull out badges and say "police get on the curb" (they were fucking undercovers!!. i was the one with the joint in my hand so right when they said that i took one last quick hit and they didnt see i had it so i tossed it in the creek. now i look like a typical pothead i got the long hair and the dirty go-t. so one of the cops pulls me aside and has the nerve to ask me to work for them undercover doing fake deals and such. i told him hell no and that he either should charge me for something or let me go. well i made it a point i know my rights so he ended up letting me and my friends go with my friends 22 year old cousin. we ended up just smokein up the rest of the night away after that and all is well.

You thought they were suspicious? Do not underestimate how suspicious, groups of younger people appear to middle agers. Especially when in groups. The herd mentality takes over and behaviors non typical of what middle-agers expect.
Tight groups of people loud or quiet are suspicious to most people. Especially in a circle! What makes you suspicious or not when you see a group of people?
Close call and nice thinking putting it in the creek!

In this situation a quick hello and how are you doing is necessary. Like Soc said groups are suspicious. If however you readily make yourself seen then a little of the stigma should be gone.
Creek will take evidence away.
your lucky you were able to toss it.
