Hey Barry!
I am currently in high school and the state of Oklahoma requires that all public schools have drug dogs come search 4 times in a year(twice every semester)
The police officers try and use false alerts every time they come..The teachers tell administration who they think might have something and kids are tricked into unlocking and opening their vehicles even if they dont have anything on them..my question is if this was to happen to me what should I do?
Ive been told that the officers just tell you " we hit on your car open it up now" if i asked to see the dog hit on the car and it didn't would this allow me to not follow the officers order to open my car up? If I saw the dog hit on my car and just refused to open anything up would this be a bad idea? If anyone can help it would be great because i prefer not to get F*cked in the as$ but the PO-lice |

| Unfortunatley being in school means that you have no rights. Driving to school is a privelage they can tell you to ride the bus. They can search your locker with no probable cause. they6 can also search your car because it is parked on there grounds. To the point don't t6ake dope to school. If you get high before school that is alright just dont leave the joint in the ashtray. |

one trick i used during high school was if i wanted to toke at lunch id roll a joint smoke it all and nothing to worry about.
before lunch i would stash it in a secret pocket i made in my shoes, even i took them off it would still be concealed.
The only thing you really have to worry about is actually having something on you. If your blown off your ass blod shot eyes but with no bud they cant do much. they will search you but find nothing.
another trick we used alot was we would make brownies and just eat those when we wanted to get high at school. |

I'm not so sure they can search your car, I'm fairly sure that a vehicle is considered private property. I'm almost sure they need a warrant, probable cause or consent to search a car. |

Private property goes out the door if you are parked on there property. They have the right to inspect and search cars, bookbags, as well as lockers and personal belongings. Most schools have signs that say we can search anything we want as long as it is on our property. Again, driving to school is a privelage that can be stripped. as well as you can be discharged from the school. |

Maybe if you park not on school ground perhaps a block away or a near street close.
I am thinking that a car is private property on school grounds. The main reason for losing rights (if im no mistaken) in school to get searched and what not are to keep the students safe. If you have a gun in your car Its not endangering any students. |

dude if you bring a gun to school in your car its illegal. I mean's they can make up any excuse that may be probable cause for any reason to check your car.
I have the pdf of the handbook for a school in ohio and i will list the pages to read. It may be different in other areas but I dont see it to different.

Why take dope to school though? I mean grow up people you still need a education if your a stoner. Having any kind of substance on you in school is a bad idea. It can haunt you for the rest of your life. trust me. Some people go there to learn. If you sell at school your even worse. Does anyone understand how much money is made off curious teens? I sold dope in school a long time ago. I ruined and damaged peoples school year's and as we grew up I found that even though I kickedcertain addictions, I have to watch all of my other people still fucked up and I know it was my fault. All I am saying is keep dope out of school. It is really not worth it to anyone. |

I dont know about that ^^^^ man, I smoked every day in school and I graduated with a 3.8 GPA
Its kids that consistantly get ripped off in school, ALL THE TIME, until they get sick of getting ripped, so they try and take it up a step. If only stoners would learn to not rip off other stoners, kids wouldnt have the need to try coke or abuse pills or other shit. |

I also graduated honors 6 months early that was only because i went to rehab. If you take dope to school it just complicates the whole process. |

I'm sorry but there is just too much fail in your last post for me to handle right now. I can't even respond without letting you know. If you tend to be the kind of person who attracts attention for small things, you know, the one who acts up for attention and eventually gets detentions or suspensions for behavioral reasons, after the school is fed up enough with your bullshit, and there's something finally that they will do to try and punish you for(such as possession of small amount of marijuana) they send you to a program/correctional school which tend to have easier work with longer deadlines. In addition to community service and or any fines you get from it. I'm assuming that you didn't check yourself into rehab for marijuana and that you did get caught for it at school and rehab was just a requirement.
It helps a lot more people and in your case it may have made graduating easier for you. If you were with anyone I hang out with and you called it dope you would become the human ash tray. I'm all for avoiding putting yourself into dangerous positions but bringing marijuana to school, is not something hard to get away with. |

I think you been smoking some of the stuff i was sellen.
I went to rehab for crack cocaine. I checked myself in and the school had no idea what i was doing because my mom worked there. I messed up alot of lives and they all started from some dick like me bringing drugs to school. and as far as me calling it dope. don't make a big deal with it. it does slow you down and dope you up. I was not the guy you were hanging out with i was the guy hooking you up And i am pretty sure if i could sell hard then you are right pot is nothing to get away with.
this is like a big back and forth arguement. I have already posted the schools handbook from around here and it does clearly anwser this guys question. lets just leave it at that. |

Marijuana and crack are two very different substances.
I sold pot in high school, alot of people actually praised me because they would smoke it before any standardized test we had to take and it would help them concentrate. They also ended up passing it.
I'd never have and never will touch crack. nor would i sell it.
there were days that i brought over an ounce almost two ounces to school and selling it all before lunch.
I've also picked up a quarter pound after school. I've even been pulled into a principles office with half an ounce in my bag and not getting caught.
I've had weed that smelled up the whole classroom and not been busted. I've been high as hell talking to the security, and teachers
Never got busted. The thing was i was a good student, the teachers knew i smoked but i did my work and i got A's. I even did a chemistry project on medical marijuana, the teachers respected me and didnt want to be the one that ruined my future. and im thankful for that. |
