I think it gives you that focus you need with out distraction. Distraction from pain and unmotivating thoughts. Sativa is definitely the way to go for working out or any activity. You need a good 60/40 sativa/indica mix at least for a good uplifting, motivating high.
As herb is a natural muscle relaxant your muscles can go the distance but if you smoke too much you will get winded so a few hits of good stuff will get you there where you want to be. |

I used to ride my road bike30 miles-15 to and 15 from. 4 miles in, I'd stop at this creek that led to the underside of an overpass and smoked there. Then got back on my bike, went to the 15 mile-mark and on my way back, take a little detour to a park with several benches and smoke there. Then I'd go home, totally baked. Amazing fun.
I'll have to remember to do a couple more of those rides next summer before I head off to college. |

I was going to post the exact same thing. One could argue, well you don't need a gym to exercise. I just can't really motivate myself to go for a long walk or a jog. I used to play DDR a lot, now that was fun exercise. As dumb as it sounds, it did help(especially considering I was playing on heavy mode). And yes, playing DDR high was FUCKING AWESOME! |

It's just "working out" and "exercising" are two completely different things.
I exercise to stay fit, I work out to build muscle and increase strength.
I exercise on the indo cushion for 360 degrees of instability, it's great for improving balance |
