| Ok me and my buddys were driving around smoking a blunt about to go to the movies and all of sudden I see we get pulled over so I put out the half smoked blunt and just swallow it as fast as i could. The cop comes up to the car and say let me see your license and wheres the pot. We all didnt know what to say so he asks my friend who is driving to step out of the car. They take him into the cop car and question him and then they make me and my 2 other friends get out and search the car. They find nothing. The cop comes back and says the driver said we were smoking and that I ate the blunt, so they take me and my friend in one car and the 3 others in another car. So we get to the station and the cop that took me in was just going to let us go. We start walking out of the station and the other car with my other 3 friends rolls up and goes where do you guys think your going? The dick makes us come back in and call our parents. First of all I am 19 and say I dont need to call my parents im an adult and I made up some lie about my parents living in another state and he knew I was lying so he goes if you keep lying to me Im going to give you possession of marijuana-bodily. So eventually I call my dad to pick me up and I get let go with no charges. So basically my question is should I have just been free to walk and is there such thing as possession of marijuana-bodily? |

| i cant answer your question but the important thing is you stayed out of jail with no charges filed,,as screwed up as that experience was for you,,im glad to hear you did what you had to. |

| marijuana bodily? that is fucken stupid. i like Mr C. can't answer your question but i did alot of searching and came up with no case that that particular charge was used. |

They can charge you if you admit to possessing or using. They attempted to get you to admit. They couldn't even though your friend told them the truth. If they were going to charge you with anything, they would have. Soo, they get you anyway by dragging your butts to the station and calling your Parents.
Happened to me as a teen. They think they are "teaching you a lesson". Or straighten you out before you go bad. At the same time, they make sure you know what They could have done.
Really, they were just looking out for you and helping you out of a situation that could have been a lot tougher if they hadnt liked you and been a friend to you. His Partner probably wanted to beat you with a baton or shove a gun in your face to scare you. He doesnt like Dopers. See?

Well to me that charge sounds like bull shit but im still not totally sure.
You should tell your friends how to get out of those situations like that. If your friend really snitched that wouldve been pretty messed up. |

| I think women have been charged with contributing to a minor because the drug was flowing through umbilical cord before it was cut. Either that or I was stoned and saw in on Law & Order. |

| I think that is some BS. if anything it would be destroy evidence. that would really be bad. I had something like that happen to me. I was going to the mall I just had one blunt so i smoke on my way there and soon as i got off the freeway it was a cop on the off ramp. I had a tail so i ate it and 1 min later he pulled me over. he said he smell weed and said do you have any more. I told him i ate a weed brownie that was it. he check the car found nothing and let me go. I think if you admit you just smoke while driving that would be a DUI or something like that. or if you tell them you ate weed just before they pull you over that would be destroy evidence. but if you tell them you ate a MJ brownie they cant do anything. you are not possessing or using just consume it. I think this would be a safe way to tell the cops when your car smells like weed. |
