I'd wait till they ask you about it cause odds are they will find it some how or anything in your house or smell or see you smoking it.

I think in 5th grade i had the DARE program, so I'd say around them talk to them about drugs but dont say that you smoke pot.

But if they ask you if they are mature and ready to know tell them the truth.

But i have to say that DARE actually got me kinda interested in drugs.

The truth. Which is some things are good for some people but bad for other people. Some drugs are more dangerous than others. Some people should absolutely not drink! They just can't handle it responsibly. Same could be true of MJ or some other substance even coffee.

When you think about it people use the "I HAVE NOT HAD MY COFFEE YET" excuse for their grumpy or perhaps even rude behavior. Coffee is a strong stimulant which can cause a number of ailments if abused by people who are sensitive to it. Some people can drink a pot a day and be fine while others suffer the stress of ups and downs, caffine headaches, stomach upset, stomach reflex and other aliments and yet will continue drinking it because they love the uplifting feeling it gives which can be addicting.

One of my friends can not sleep well at night and he drinks a pot of coffee a day. He also suffers from depression but will claim he feels better in the morning and that is of course when he drinks his pot of coffee. I suggested he cut down on his coffee intake to see if his sleep would improve.

I would tell my kids all the possible dangers associated with the different drugs along with the positive effects it could have if used responsibly. I think these things should be disgusted pre-teen years before they are introduced to them.

I am A pot A day coffee drinker,I have a big mug that holds a 12 cup pot,but other than that the only other thing I drink is sweet Tea,caffeine all day long,no trouble sleeping at night. But that is just me personally, and it doesn't affect the way I work,if I don't have it.

Ah coffee, I have to have coffee, can't work without it. I drink about 2 pots in a 10 hour shift, really to much.

I'm caffiene sensitive, used to use it heavily and regularly. Intake was only when I needed a boost... but then there were those days when I would buy and consume as many as I could carry, (starbucks double shot in the can) to the counter in an 8 hour period. I was also running coast to coast in a semi for 60 hours nonstop. I was also smoking a pack of smokes in a 4-5 hour period at the burnout point too.
