Bill of Rights
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Amendment II
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
Amendment III
No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
Amendment IV
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Amendment V
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
Amendment VI
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.
Amendment VII
In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise reexamined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.
Amendment VIII
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
Amendment IX
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
Amendment X
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
Amendment XI
The judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by citizens of another state, or by citizens or subjects of any foreign state.

Thats what the annotations are for. Circumvention.
Yeah your right, they have become meaningless words on a dusty piece of HEMP paper.
The annotations are pure legalese. Our founding fathers made no mistake when the framed such simplistic sounding Rights. They wanted to make sure every citizen could understand those rights. Our courts have made them convoluted and cryptic. It is up to the people that those words apply to, to do something about it...Us |

It's a great word, it makes you sound already guilty even though you may or may not have done anything.
"He ALLEGEDLY did something". Sounds more like he already did it. Usually though they are right, he did it LoL |

Here is the letter I finally sent to my Congressman. 
Honorable Congressman Wamp
I am writing in response to a letter you sent back to me,I originally wrote asking your support of legislation before it was proposed,but now it has been proposed,H.R. 5843.
in your response you said that Marijuana was a dangerous drug,may I ask,in your opinion,just how you see it as dangerous?........A DEA Federal court judge once said that Marijuana was the safest drug known. I would venture to say that it is no more dangerous than Alcohol,or tobacco,or for that matter Aspirin....in the history of Cannabis,there are no known reports,of anybody,ever pronounced dead attributed to marijuana only.
The only Danger I see in its use,is the Failed War On Drugs.........some pumped up DEA,or local police officer,Kicking in my door,Throwing me on the floor,Ripping apart my house,Terrorizing my family,Locking me up in a prison,only to get raped,or stabbed.......All for what? smoking a plant,placed here by God,for mankinds use. I currently Don't use Marijuana,Don't drink Alcohol,or anything else for that matter........except that I do smoke cigarettes. I attend church fairly regularly,and work hard for what little I make,what harm would I do,or what business is it of the U.S. Government,if after work I settle down with A little marijuana?
With a short bit of searching,it is impossible not to find,the utter feudalism,and Ignore the idiosity of the FAILED WAR ON DRUGS. And in closing,I admire and respect you as you are an intelligent Man. And I assume you will not send me unfounded propaganda,but A researched response.

Opperman, 86 the Court sustained the admission of evidence found when police impounded an automobile from a public street for multiple parking violations and entered the car to secure and inventory valuables for safekeeping. Marijuana was discovered in the glove compartment.
Since when do the police care that mych about your valuables. The only thing theyshould be doing is locking the doors. I mean if I park my car on the street I am going to lock my doors anyway. |
