Some rules I like to follow that are very simple and can be very effective are:
*Never have any contaminated hardware in your vehicle - such as pipes, roaches, roach clips, over-handled packets of rolling papers, or even trays used to break stuff up on.
*Never smoke when you have anything on you. Even if you eat the roach the smell can linger on for days.
*Never break anything up inside your vehicle; The smallest scrap can lead to many, many problems.
*Never be under the influence or smell like you might be if you have anything on you or are doing anything important.
*Keep a somewhat regular cleaning schedule which consist of vacuuming, shampooing, and wiping down all interior surfaces of your vehicle if you ever smoke in it. Not only does this help to ensure less chance of being contaminated, but it also helps maintain a higher sense of self even if you do have a beater.
I like to sprinkle baking soda on my seats and carpeting before vacuuming, it seems to help with odor. You can also try the baking soda made for people with pets, it attaches to all kinds of things and aids in the vacuuming process. |

speaking of baking soda above and simple tips,,i was reminded of something,,,,this is something for the house
Purchase a single black coffee mug that's deep. Cut a circle of poster board and spray paint it black. Place valuables in the cup then position the fake bottom in the cup. Fill remainder of cup with baking soda and place in fridge. This appears to be absorbing odors instead of hiding anything. If there's any chance that a family member may clean out the fridge be sure and tell them to leave the baking soda cup in place.

After a tube of toothpaste is completely empty carefully cut off the flat end (bottom). Clean inside of tube really well. Hide stash in it then simply fold the end down a couple of times. This appears to be a tube of toothpaste that's been partially used rather than the secret compartment it really is. This method can be done with a hemorrhoid cream tube that no one will bother. if waiting to smoke after you get to your destination just glue the end back together
ofcource its not foolproof,,but when i was younger,,had a friend with a cooler with cokes in it one had a false bottom and was with all the other cokes in the cooler (in the back seat)with some for personal use,coming back from partying in mexico,the cops looked in the cooler but didnt bother any of them,,,he was shitting bricks but did get lucky there.
they did run the dog around the vehicle,,the dog didnt alert,,,so like Barry said dogs do miss all the time. |
