In the DVD Barry says he had an informant tell him he just carried what could fit in his hand(I'm assuming it was reasonably small amounts) and if anything happened he just swallowed it..
I honestly don't know too much about bud and how it works but if you just carried a small nug in your hand how well do you think you'd fare in getting from a to b? Would it harm the potency to be held in your hand for 15, 20 mins tops? |

| No, I doubt it would affect at all. Bud is a pretty durable good. The only damage to potency comes when you burn the bud, and I doubt your hand can do that. You could keep it in your hand all day! |

What??? The only thing to affect THC is the combustion process??? 
Don't forget oxidization, water, other environmental factors, etc...

Oh I'd love to smoke something that was clutched in some moron's fist all day. Perhaps you stumbled upon a new cure method!

| Whoa..yea,chill... my bad there, I just meant in general terms. Yea, everything you mentioned will hurt De Pot, but I am sure you could keep a a good nug in your hand, casually, all day in your hand and it would be OK to smoke!? |

| So good idea? I don't smoke nearly as much as I used to before I was arrested.. Mostly social now.. So I guess this is an alright safe way to transport a gram or less huh? |

never leave home without a bottle of water or something to drink,,i drink mainly water in a pop top bottle that pretty much stays open,,if i have a bud in my hand im gonna make sure ive got water to flush it down quickly.
