| In the mid stage of flowering the female flowers produce sticky resin to attract the male pollen to stick and produce seeds. Which is why sensi is better as the females produce more resin in hopes of catching pollen. |

Yes. and if you clone your females, you'll get more females... and totally eliminate all males 
unless you.. want.. males... :-/ |

| If i do start to grow my own i was thiniking about keeping a male and female seperate so i could have an endless supply of seeds. So i dont have to keep buying them. Cant you still smoke the males? |

Oi, If you have like a million males you can make hash oil, but males are pretty useless. Males do in fact bud, but they're hairless and have sub par levels of THC. I say focus your efforts on females, and like wildchild said, clone your females to produce other female plants in the future. Why do guess work with seeds?

Basically, you get one female.. clone her ... lets say 5 times. then you can clone each one of them clones 5 times... it depends on how many you need. but basically you'll have more then enough.
Do some reading up on cloning. Google it. It's an amazing technique. |

clonning is way to go, but storing seed is also
important.
Let's say your mother plant got infected and
seriously ill, then you just lost your whole
clonning process.
Or, if your mother plant become hermie by various
reasons, such as light schedule messed up or
leaking light or some kind of too much stress,
then you hermied mother plant will continuously
produce another hermie when you clone from it.
Even if you do all cautious work, you might facing
you have to move out or leave home for long time,
then there will be nobody to take care of your
mother plant.
So, just for back up strategy, it is good to
store some seeds. You do not have to pollinate
bunch of females. Just one female and male plant
will produce thousands of seeds
Once you gater seeds, store at cool-dark area
or store at frizzer and it will last couple years. |
