Young punks in customized sport cars with spinners ,and other real flashy rims , Neon lights under car frame looks good I agree but many states have laws against such things , and once again even if your state allows neon , just like window tint , and seat belt laws under what is called home rule / local ordinance various towns may be able to pull you over and ticket you for it.
SMALL Economy cars don't attract attention unless you have a bunch of people inside.
I LEARNED LONG AGO IN MY YOUNGER DAYS and i'm only #40 BLEND IN TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS ,DON'T ATTRACT ATTENTION to yourself !
Also don't cruise around town with your ghetto blaster blowing up the neighbor hood with that God for saken THUMP THUMP BASS tHATS A GURANTEED WAY TO GET PULLED OVER , iF I WAS a cop those are the people i would be targeting , In my town we have a local ordinance if you can hear music from your car within 50 feet you can be ticketed or vehical impounded. That is one law i'm totally in agreement with.

| I think you can try to hard too. Once I saw an old Z28 with 2 dare stickers on the back bumper, I remember thinking that dude is a smoker. |

| A DARE sticker might as well say "pull me over, I smoke weed" I have never seen a Prohibitionist with one on their car |

| The police star stickers (don't know what to call them) always worked for my dad, but then again he could name half of the police in the area in a hear-beat. I think you are better off with an unmarked stock car with stock everything on it. |

Yea if you donate to the fraternal order of police they send you those star stickers.
I laugh because around here people stick them right on there license plate .
They must work more then not because your not suppose to place anything that can obstruct your plate yet i see them on plates everywhere. |

Well my car is not a ricer by no means. I have a classic car nothing fancy. And I get pulled over at least 3 times a week, and every time I get pulled over they search me and my car. I guess the cops a backwards here. Unless they just want to check out my car up close. |

Krazy we all know there are several other means of profiling. If your town is anything like here, they actually post bounties on citizens. Whichever LEO arrests certain people, for any reason whatsoever gets a predetermined cash bonus for the bust.
A buddy is going through that right now, they haul him all the time for any reason. |

| As a LEO I'd have to say that the story about officer's getting a "cash bonus" for arresting someone sounds like BS or an urban legend. Most agencies have much better things to do with their money than that. They are usually hurting for money in fact. If that were true it would be in the news and that department would have a huge black eye as well as be jeopardizing every arrest made by certain officers....legally they would almost certainly get sued and lose...I'm feeling pretty comfortable with saying only an extremely stupid chief would allow that. |

Well narcdet here we do have an extremely stupid chief. Everyone knows that he is the reason why all the drugs in my area are here. Back when I was smoking MJ I would stop by his house and we would get high together. I personally witnessed him supervising the offloading of a truck in a parking lot across from Hardees the other day with some well known drug dealers here in town. And I know for a fact that he wasn't working undercover because he was in a patrol car. He wont be around for to long, he has some bad company coming from Atlanta to take care of some "unfinished" business. |

narcdet, it is true about the bounty on my friend, 300 cash for anything even warranting a book and release. Yes in his teen years he was a problem in the community, everyone grows up. I can illegally cross the street in front of a cop and not be bothered. His recent fines, littering (cigarette butt), jaywalking, and mj posession. The posession charge stemmed from a 6mo sting directed at him and a few others. The undercover was directed at Dave specifically, while he was also sent "fishing" for mmj growers who could be caught selling. Dave was the only bust, he was on tape smoking a bowl and saying "maybe" he could hook the undercover up with a 20 bag. The undercover wound up purchasing a 20 bag from another dude who was also present, the prosecutor decided it wasn't important enough to bust the guy who sold the bag on sales, just posession too. However there was a pending conspiracy charge that was finally dropped way after Dude who sold had his case settled. Dude who sold got a fine and no probation. My buddy got a fine, jail time, and 2yrs supervised probation.
He started smoking and quit the meth and problem behavior that got LEOs attention in the first place a few years ago, now he cannot smoke and has to report any LEO contact to his PO. He got raked over the coals with a threatened revocation just for his last contact which netted the two aforementioned tickets. He refuses to go public with his story, and is waiting to pay fines so he can just move the hell outta the county. |

Yeah I think the thing Im doing wrong is driving at all. I left school for lunch today and I had two cops pull out behind me and they followed me all the way home. And on the way back they followed me. |

don't forget:
not only can your ride get you pulled over,
if you carry felonious quantities, the police WILL take that ride.
When my friend's dog was dealing, he had two cars: one for showing off and one for laying low.
The one for showing off was obviously very expensive, but there was little chance it would get seized, since he always rolled clean in that car.
The car he had for transporting work (ie- felonious quantities of illegal drugs) was an older little honda civic. It was reliable and up to code, but definitely nothing special. He could afford to lose that car.
never gamble with more than you are prepared to lose. |
