DL is correct. The only time a cop can force a blood test to determine if you have THC roaming around in your blood cells is if you are involved in a traffic accident that has serious bodily injury or death.

I have not smoked marijuana in about 5 years. If I was to smoke a joint how long would it take to get out of my system and would I be able to pass a urine test in 2 months from now.
Thanks |

If you smoked 1 joint it would be in your system for about 2 weeks. If you are a long term chronic (all day) smoker it would be out in about 2 to 3 months.
THC accumulates in the fat cells, it also depends upon metabolism and body type. If you are skinny it will be out sooner, heavy it takes longer. If you're heavy and eat little it will be even longer. If you're skinny and eat more than the average person it will be even less, this is where metabolism is involved. All a test does is check for metabolites in your system, so your body naturally processes and rids itself of toxins at varying depending on body type and metabolism.
Even if you're a heavy person THC will not be detected after 2 months. |

| Oi, I have to take a blood test pretty soon and was wondering if they usually screen for marijuana? I mean, if they did, what would they do if I came up positive (which I most definitely will)? What about donating blood? I know they have to blood test for for iron amount, but do they screen for anything else? |

| Is this for a job? Have you signed a release allowing a drug test? Have you signed a release for the results to be released to your employer. Or is it just a physical? |

| They were testing a oral swab test in the EU for canabinoids earlier this year. The biggest fear I have is if it detects the 2nd generation traces like what shows up in the pee tests we have here? Whats to say you won't get a "DUI" for showing a positive test off something you smoked last week? (like how you show positive for weeks after the last time you smoked cannabis although you haven't been impaired since you body finished breaking down the canabinoids) |
