Also, did (do) you enjoy it?[/quote] Yes things could have went real bad a 45 setting on the coffee table a pipe was passed around I new it was a test but were trained not to inhale and I'm sure you know with a pipe you can blow make it look like you toked hold your breath and thin cough but sometimes you can't help taking it in my supervisor would have busted me if I tried to cover it up the fact I was buzz-en I went to the bathroom and talked in the wire that I had to get out of there so I made the buy gave the code word and in the front door they busted in and they take me down just like everyone else I get booked just like everyone and later I'm told I'm bailed out and I get to go home, now this was a long time like a passed life I also believe putting adults in jail and screw up there life is wrong. and no I did not like the high and I don't smoke but if you want to that's your biz. |

Thats pretty crazy, I bet you were paranoid as hell after the buzz came on! 
Heres a dinger for you....
As an undercover, what things wouldnt you have done that may have cost your cover or the case? In situations like you described, I see the undercover placed in a similar position as someone placed in the interrogators chair.
There is a very strong coercive element for the undercover to commit acts he or she ordinarily wouldn't undertake. In similar atmosphere, the potential C.I. is placed. Self preservation is a strong motivator, eh? 
I see your philosophy is "To Each his Own" or similar.  If I may ask, what changed your mind on Cannabis and locking people up for it? |

| I took a criminal justice class and my teacher said that technically cops aren't allowed to use drugs. So yes if u tell them to take a puff or what not and they refuse it could be a good hint or they just paranoid. If u ask a cop if he is a cop he can say no he doesn't have to say yes |

| Would that mean that if an officer did inhale and had to testify, would you be able to argue that the marijuana clouded his memory (hehe), and that his testimony from the time could not be accurate. I mean, its a very dangerous and manipulative drug, and an officer would get a much more intense high than a regular user. |

 Yeah his interpretation of events could be manipulated by the drug so that his sense of real events are distorted. Yet he somehow coolly managed to stay in character and execute a complex undercover bust, all under the influence of Marijuana. Perhaps it could be considered a "performance enhancer". |

I was told by a lawyer that a undercover officer can do whatever he or she has to do inorder to win a case. They will do drugs and lie till they're blue in the face. their job is to make arrests at what ever costs. their job is to get you no matter what it takes.. it sure dont't
make much sence |
