I saw that done in a rural Midwest county years ago. They would go around the county cut down anything easy to see or access, find a few locals patches, and drag it through town. Damn truckload of ditch weed with maybe 5 good plants mixed in so they can call it a "sweep" or some other tactically named bullshit. They would dump it outside town and the locals would sneak out there afterward to check it out.
I even saw peoples lands seized for having ditch weed on their property. This was to enlarge a water reservoir for a growing town. Some wouldn't sell their land. By the way, that town was growing because of the 2 prisons built next to it employing farmers. Hmm. |

I read some where that in 2005 MO pulled some 4,500,000 ditch weed plants claiming to rid the state of the Devil Weed. I lived in WI years ago and everywhere you went there were ditch weeds growing along the side of the roads & on farms & barn yards. Was only good for bird seed  |

even wild ditch weed,has a plethora of uses,from having the best fiber to pulp,and its seeds OH MAN at the uses to be derived from those,not just birdseed.

There is so much ditch weed in Missouri, that Ive seen it crop up next to gas stations and empty lots in Kansas City! Birds shit seeds all over the city!
Maybe someone needs to cross kudzu with cannabis. Try to eradicate that mofos! |
