it took me quite a few tries to get high...
it was a pretty bad experience. i was in ninth grade and after school i went with a friend and smoked. it didnt hit me until we started to walk home. i didnt even know waht was going on. i was yelling "im fucked up" as a cop was right there. we had to walk home in the rain and as we were walking, my mom spotted us and picked us up. i had to try to act cool, and it was hard, but i got out of it.
being stoned for the first time was crazy. |

My two best friends and i spent the night at my friends house snuck out rolled a joint with some notebook paper.
We light up behind some Yucca plants on the sidewalk, after we walked to carls Jr. got there 2 minutes before it closed.
One of my friends was all paranoid because we were playing with the number they give you when you order something, and laughing our asses off.
I remember walking to Carls Jr. the high started to kick in at first your not to sure whats going on but you end up liking it  |

| The first time i got high i was 15. My friend's had called me and were a couple bucks short for buyin a gram. i pitched some money and our one friend went to get it. We used a plastic pop bottle with an aluminum bowl. I got kind of high and we just listened to the doors |

I was in ninth grade. After school, I went home on the bus with my friend for band practice. Our band was called Flatline, I played drums and he played guitar. The bass player came over and we practice for a couple hours. The bass player left, he wasn't cool with smoking at the time.
Me and the guitarist went downstairs after his parents left. We made a pit stop at the kitchen to take a shot of his parents' Wild Turkey, ughh! We made an aluminum foil bowl and smoked in the basement. I could def feel it, but it wasn't the greatest of weed from what I remember. We went up and watched Windows Media Player visualizations on his computer, while listening to Pink Floyd. |

The first time I can remember getting stoned,I was 11.My brother and sister turned me on,to have an ally.
I remember laying on the floor watching Tom,and Jerry,trying to not fall off the cloud I was floating on............I was hooked..........and have never lost my love of walking in the clouds  |

I was 13. A couple friends and I went off campus at lunch time. Friend whipped out two joints. They were the first I had ever seen but I immediately knew what they were! Three of us smoked those two joints. He called it "X-Mas Tree". I remember the smell with the most clarity. It smelled like those pine car fresheners. Seems like yesterday ya know?
I was high before I knew what high was. I don't think I have ever been higher in my life! It was a little overwhelming the first time.
I went to class to face a Algebra test.  Thats when I discovered "Paranoia".  Oh. and short term memory loss as the concept of algebra that day just escaped me totally.
A few other kids around me giggled at me. I remember one fuzzy face asking "ARE YOU HIGH?! all extra loud.
I rode it out best I could and turned in a blank paper.

at the age of 13 actually DEC. 7 1973, i remember the date it was my cousins birthday DEC.7. we were at the Drive-in Theater. my cousin and i it was our first time. we shared 1 joint. i remember my eyes so so red and laugh man laugh our butts off at everything. the next week i bought my first 4-finger LID for $10.

First time it was really no fun, It didnt work at all and I was with one of my friends "burnout" friends, so after I felt pretty stupid.
But the second time was great, it was thanksgiving and we ate turkey and smoked!
Then I argued that I wasn't high, over the next half hour.
No really as exciting as some of you......
Now since then, there has been fun! |

| My first time was amazing. It was just a friend and myself and we smoked a joint together while hanging out at his house. I started laughing uncontrollably and did not stop for almost 30 minutes. It got to the point that I realized I was laughing for no reason and somehow found that to be even funnier. Well, I finally relaxed a little and we put on Pink Floyd's Pulse album and zoned out. Again, it was amazing. |

Audio that's funny, laughing i always wondered why pot would make us laugh like that. i guess the high did it. for some old timers like me remember the Colombian RED BUD and GOLD BUD HIGH that was a high high high. i know there is good smoke out there today but Colombian RED or GOLD bud high was a high one could not forget. just my thoughts. LOL

| I asked my Mom a while ago what kind of bud was around when she was my age. She said there was mexican weed and columbian weed. Were there any other kinds around then or did you just refer to shitty bud as mexican weed and good stuff as columbian? |

| Bought $5 worth of regs. Went to the bathroom and made an aluminum-foil pipe. I put the flame from my lighter on the bottom of the bowl and started inhaling. Minutes past and I did not get high, so I called up my [experienced] friend and asked him what was going wrong. He told me to smoke some more. I kept lighting the bottom of the bowl and inhaling that aluminum. I sat down on the bathtub and contemplated. That's when I had my epiphany: It's called smoking weed for a reason. So I refill my bowl, light the bowl from the top to burn the bud, and inhale. I took several hits, and started coughing up a lung. Getting sick and tired of coughing, I dispose of the pipe and stash away my weed. I sat on the bathtub staring at the door opposite me. I sit up, go to my bedroom and back to the bathroom. I keep going back and forth about seven times before I realize I'm doing it. I paused in front to the mirror to look at my reflection, and sure enough, my eyes are blood-shot. I think "holy shit I'm high." I then go to the oven to bake myself some frozen pizzas; I devour them. Then I put on my jacket and walk in the night listening to my favorite tunes on my mp3 player. |
