Barry, it is refreshing to see that someone from the "other side" finally sees the folly of the "war on drugs." Your appearance on the scene made me wonder about a couple things. First, do your former law enforcement colleagues consider you a traitor? Also, is there a possibility or probability that there will be charges of obstruction of justice leveled against you by the "justice system"?

You are doing a great work. Keep it up!

I've come to realize something when you sit down with a bunch of friends and talk about pot being legal or illegal do you ever stop to think why it's illegal? They make it illegal because they can't put taxes on it, they say it's a gate way drug, they say that it makes people lazy, they say that it can kill you. I have done a lot of research on it #1 our government thinks that we have to tax everything...NOT TRUE, papers aren't taxed but people don't buy papers that often, but if they made pot legal people would be buying it like crazy and growing it like crazy and the government would be making more if it was taxed then it not being taxed. #2 They say it's a gateway drug also NOT TRUE, it is only a gateway drug if u chose it to be, When you feel like you want a longer buzz you turn to heavier drugs but pot it's self does not make you want to try heavier drugs your own mind does, when i was 13 i smoked pot and i smoked it often, my grades didn't drop if anything they raised, pot didn't make me want to do pills or shrooms, meth, etc. I smoked pot and that was it. #3 Pot does not make people lazy if anything it makes them more active, i mean it's true they get relazed at first but i know people that smoked pot then wanted to go walking, or running, or play soccer, football, baseball, basketball you name it. I know doctors that have smoked, policeofficers that have smoked, old grandmas that smoke, teachers that smoke. It does not make you lazy that is a lie too. Last of all pot can not kill you it has been proven you can not overdose on pot, you can do stupid things on pot but the same applies for acohol except acohol you can overdose on and you get irrate and more stupid on acohol so why don't they just make acohol illegal....ohhh wait it's because they can tax acohol, which will kill you faster than pot will, liver damage, liver disease, overdose, impaired vision. All im saying is if pot was so dangerous like the government says then why do they make pot legal for those that have cancer ohh yeah because they can't tax it which means less money coming in their pockets.

Yeah, actually people die from the black market thugs and from money going to terrorists and gangs. No one wants drunks or pot smokers driving the streets, but they are going to do it legal or not and should be punished for it. Doesn't mean pot shouldnt be legal for private in home consumption. The only study I've heard of where pot smoke killed something was a government run one in the 70's where they suffocated monkeys to death with marijuana smoke to claim it was bad. LOL what a bunch of douche's, suffocating monkeys to death, and they called themselves scientists.

To answer the questions posted.

1) It is about 50 50. Half of law enforcement actually supports my efforts but most are doing it secretly. The other half reacts like I would have reacted when misinformed. I have a box full of death threats from anonymous LEO's...These are the ones who believe their teachers and refuse to allow logic and reasoning guide their emotions.

2) Several top level attorneys across the U.S. have examined my efforts and so far the consensus is I am protected by Freedom of Speech. This was not the case 6 months ago when we worried about indictments.

The DEA has seemed to back off a bit. This is done because they are "laying low" to seem uninterested in my efforts but are actually doing heavy surveillance or their attorneys warned them to back off. Some info I have on the inside will soon report and I will know which of the above we are facing.

Great questions.

Barry
