When I smoke too much, I go to sleep!
if you're getting sick, maybe you should watch who you're smoking with. Are your buddies sick?
or you getting sick all by yourself? |

there have been times I've caught a cold and blamed it on the pot ...... but I'm sure it was passed along by somebody rather than the pot. Maybe you were smoking on an empty stomach?? Too much smoke in a small area?? Just a couple of thoughts ....... |

| well two nights ago me and my friend (neither of us are sick) we smoke a joint that i rolled from some new bud i got that day. We chill in the hot tub trippin on the dog. Once we get the munchies we get out and both have a blood rush like when getting up to fast, it goes away and we continue inside. Once we get inside we start to feel sick, and 10 mintues later i throw up and feel better, after that my friend starts to get the throwing up feeling. I make food we eat and then sleep. It felt like i was going to pass out but my legs and arms felt weird. I think it might have to do something with the big temperture change maybe? getting out of the hot tub when its raining and about a 30-40 degree change maybe more. |

| Sounds like questionable dope to me. Partied many times in hot tubs with all kinds of "party favors" even in the dead of winter and never had a similar experience. Unless this was the onset of food poisoning I would bet that there was more than weed you smoked. Keep in mind smugglers package weed in all kinds of crazy stuff in misguided attempts to fool K9s. |

There was a few times where I smoked so much that I became extremely nauseated and fainted.. I think it might've been because my blood sugar level was so low and I hadn't eaten anything for nearly 24 hours..
The 2 or 3 times that that happened it was with popcorn weed.. |

In my experience the way you smoke marijuana can form bronchitis.
Firstly, if smoke gets caught in your throat and you have to cough it all out and burn your throat, I have noticed that sometimes a bronchitis will form or it is easier for one to form.
Also, smoking out of water pipes seems to increase incidents of bronchitis (MAPS also has done a study on this showing water filtration to make smoke worse for your lungs). Back in college I would smoke out bongs, other water pipes, and gravity bong hits often. This resulted in many instances of recurring bronchitis.
Now a days I typically smoke joints or dry glass pipes, and I have very few problems with any bronchial infections. Also though after having a rash of bronchitis infections like I did I may have built up a tolerance to such infections, but I more attribute my being bronchitis free to my cleaner methods of smoking (and healthier ways of living), and avoidance of regular bong and other water pipe usage, opting instead for dry glass pipes and joints.
Also too I always wipe the end of a pipe before I hit it, if not burn it with the end of a lighter a little and wipe. I also have found a method of holding joints/blunts and not actually put my lips to it, moreso almost hit it through my pinched fingers right up to my lips, so I never make physical contact with any salivated on part of a joint/blunt.
Many respiratory infections can be passed along from person to person through sharing joints and pipes.
Besides reducing the chance to make contact with some elses (potentially infected) saliva, I just hate it when a good joint is all wet and lippy.

I have had a few instances, with really good MJ,to get what I have always called over-Kill.I tend to get to the point of passing out,and a time or two, puking.but it tends to pass, after about 10 minutes of laying down. |

the only time i felt sick after smoking, was some 'one hit killer weed' and i took 'two hits' , man some kinda hydro bud. sweet as sugar and taste like Skunk-Berry's. i had this for two months to smoke, nothing got me high after that. it came from a friend of a friend from another state.
peace & pot |
