Hello Mr. Cooper, or Berry
I'm a new visitor and wondering if there are any
different / advaced tactics or training between
local law enforcement and DEA.
Also, is there a difference between the K-9s
(mostly a German Shepherd) at the street and the
Drug Detector Dogs (usually Golden Retriever)
in the airport?
This may confuse you but I just simply curious
they get different training or they all trained in
same way then go to a different department.
Also, if I send you an email, is there a chance to
get reply from you? I know for sure that you receive
thousands of mails every day |

GG,
All law enforcement officers are basically trained the same. DEA agents get more extensive training in the narcotics field but do not learn anything to separate themselves as "super-human cops with super-human powers."
Any breed of dog can be trained as a drug dog as long as the k-9 to be trained has a "crazy ball drive." Not one breed is better than the other but some breeds are genetically wired to be retrievers i.e. Labs, Shepherds and such. This is why these certain breeds are selected more than others.
If you email me info@nevergetbusted.com, I WILL RETURN YOUR EMAIL. My Operations Manager checks these and forwards them to me. I return all emails.
Good questions.
