And as for the statement (from yourself) exclaiming your status as some world renowned interdiction officer and top cop, if that is the case then why had no one ever heard your name? Could it be that you were only a second-rate interdiction officer that couldn't hack it and this is your way of retaliating against those who shunned you? I mean, seriously, couldn't you have put this knowledge to better use? Or is it simply that you are a doper yourself and wanted everyone to think of you as God? Why do attack a man that is only exercising his constitutional rights and trying to do something about the draconian laws of our nation?
Would you attack the organization known as L.E.A.P. the same way? If you don’t know what I am talking about, it stands for LAW ENFORCEMENT AGAINST PROHIBITION.
You must be comfortable with the way our government is running things right now, is that it? You must be comfortable with the level of our tax deficit, is that it? You must be comfortable with the lies that our government tells the American People every day.

So it's ok for a public servant to abuse their position, lie and engage in illegal activities? As well as treat the constitution like it's pipe dream and destroy the lives of citizens.
But it's not okay for someone to point it out and use their First Ammendment rights of free speech to educate the public on illegal and unconstitutional activities commited by those sworn to serve and protect?
What is it about an informed population that exercises the rights that American blood has been shed to protect that bothers you so much?
I just want to make sure I hear your side of what I believe to be anti-patriotic rhetoric that's treacherous to the spirit of this great nation. |

How do you know that Officer Waters has abused his power? Did he hurt you? Barry is making claims based on the word of others, others who are pissed off that they lost their drugs/money/families (wait, families don't count to dopers). Has anyone asked the wondrous Mr. Cooper WHY he has such a grudge against law enforcement? Has anyone stopped to even question his true motives? Is he simply a vindictive person, pissed off at a system that shunned him? Or, is he simply someone looking to make a buck? I've seen the video and believe me, you're still going to get caught. He's not that good. He wasn't that good when he was trying to be an interdiction officer. And don't try and tell me that there is proof of his work on this site, I've taken pictures with dope/money loads with the k-9, in an office and I'M A DAMNED CIVILIAN. You don't have to make the load in order to be photographed with it. It's like going to the strip club and your friend takes home the stripper. You might not all have the cash to get the full service, but everyone can take a picture. I have a personal vendetta against any cop who violates citizens 4th amendment rights. I saw two different occasions on video where Mark made arrests behind a k-9s false alert. The two false alerts are so obvious, any person with little knowledge of how k-9s are trained can point them out. Mark also told The Tyler Morning Telegraph he would engage in a public debate with me. Upon accepting his challenge, he withdrew. The reason no officer, judge or prosecutor has stepped forth to debate me is because the argument of continuing the War on Drugs has more holes in it than can ever be plugged. Their is no way for the government to win the debate, therefore, they don't debate!
When questioned by the media, my supervisors labeled me as one of the top narcotics officers in the nation. I never made those claims. I let those who saw my work speak for me. Just Google the articles and you will find the quotes from my former bosses. It should be clear that whether I was one of the best or not, I certainly have enough experience in the narcotics field to expose the injustices and illegal police tactics used when placing citizens in jail.
You ask "why no one ever heard your name?" That sounds like kindergarten arguing when you make those type of statements.

I don't remember being shunned. I remember agencies standing in line to hire me. I remember being embraced for my ability to trample on citizens 4th amendment rights. There is retaliation here, but not from being shunned.

MY DVD has a 14 minute intro explaining I was the target of 5 unjustified arrests and one civil raid that went bad and left bruises on my 14 year old daughter. My bio page on this website explains this along with explaining my arrest for not returning two DVDs on time. If you did see my DVD and explore this website, than why do you ask questions such as this?

I have over a hundred more photos and videos cataloging my undercover kilo cocaine deals, over 100 raids and many more traffic stops. The photos on this site are a sample and they are my seizures and no one else's. If my claims are not true, High Times investigators and ABC's 20/20 and all the other media outlets would have exposed me for the false claims by now. All my claims are true.

Nope. I'm a Jeffersonian style patriot. I believe the government should only interfere in state rights when matters of civil rights are in danger. I believe in the ENTIRE Constitution. Free Speech AND the Right to Bear Arms. i.e. I'm no damn hippie.
I have a family, which contrary to what you think about 'dopers', I care a great deal about. Under the current Prohibitionist Policy it would be easier for my teenager to score pot than beer. Due to the fact that a person's brain continues to develop until their early 20's. I firmly assert that even occasional marijuana and alcohol use by minors is potentialy detrimental.
On the subject of 'the children' consider some disturbing numbers.
* Last year, as a nation, we spent 1 billion dollars housing prisoners for marijuana. Most of these prisoners are in jail for possession only.
* Another 8 billion dollars was spent on the local, state and national levels prosecuting marijuana possesssion.
* In 2005 a study was done to evaluate the cost of a computer at the desk of every public school student. The cost for hardware, software, additional training of staff and 5 yrs of maintenance. 3.2 billion
Last time I checked, wanting to put less money to better use doesn't make someone a liberal. Nor does one's ability to draw direct correlations with Alcohol Prohibition in regards to crime, homicide rates and availibility to minors.
It tends to be a reaction for people to assume that those with opposing views are either stupid or uneducated. I'm all for opposing views, but the assumptions have got to go.
I hope we can all land on somewhat civil ground even if we don't agree on alot of things. Hell, I was VERY sceptical of Barry Cooper. I thought he was A, still a cop or B, trying to get some money from stoners and then he'd be gone. It took awhile to convince me he wasn't full of shit.

No, not currently, nor have I ever been a peace officer. I'm simply a college professor, and no, I don't teach anything about criminal justice, human rights, or anything possibly associated with it. I have, unfortunately, watched your DVD. No, I'm sorry, but I didn't buy it (literally and figuratively). I hate to say that it seems you are misleading people in order to make a sh$tload of money. You cover some basic principles of concealment, but, unless it's some rookie idiot attempting to be an interdiction officer, which, I do, unfortunately have to admit are out there, you leave a lot of ground uncovered. As for the false alerts, some officers, as well as many regular Joe's, are not honest people. IT DOESN'T MAKE ALL OF THEM THAT WAY. I do detest the fact that you seem to be pointing a general finger at every interdiction officer. Some are, admittedly, crooked (for lack of a better word) but not all. I know a number of interdiction officers, police officers and others associated with law enforcement and it isn't fair for you to say that they are all violating the rights of individuals who are trying to haul massive loads of drugs across our country. I'm not wailing against those who smoke marijuana for whatever reason, it's those that are transporting massive amounts of heroin, crystal and cocaine that do bother me. If you're just in it to help out the potheads, go forth. If you are just helping drug dealers and users in general, I hope you fail miserably. |

Dude...seriously....WHOA. Take the tin foil off of your head, the aliens aren't coming. I'm not a socialist, a pseudo or any other _-American type. I also want to know why Barry would like to list just one name of one officer on this site. I wanted to know if it was simply a vendetta or if he had solid proof of wrongdoing. I have the scars, I walk with a cane, and I still feel smaller then all the older brothers and sisters that I come across at the V.A. clinic when I have to go see my doctor.

My deepest apology on assuming that you were a worthless ass liberal. Okay, that was a crappy apology, but hear me out. You are right on the fact that I jumped to conclusions about you and your motivations, and for that I do apologize. You seem like a strong man with strong convictions. I cannot hold that against you. I simply mistook the statement concerning the lies surrounding 9-11. I took it in the means of you saying that it did not happen but was a figment of our government's imagination. With all that said, God bless you and all of your fallen brethren. I, too, have lost dear friends, both physically and mentally, to Desert Storm and the current war in Iraq. Wear your scars with pride and know that there are those out there who thank you and praise you for keeping us free. I, too, have strong beliefs about certain ideas. I have no problem with the potheads...most of them are fairly mellow. I do, however, have problems with the pushers, the cartels, the murderers, the rapists and the thieves who will take anyone out in their quest to push a product or get said product. The only issues I truly have with Barry are his motivations. Again, I do apologize for jumping to conclusions and again, thank you for what you have sacrificed for my freedom and that of every other American. |

Barry, please tell you dad that I said thank you; and tell your brother that I pray he never loses his moral. I know how easy it can seem for moral to fly out of the tent flap. My heart goes out to every family member out there, and I can only hope that these young troops retain all the information that has been bestowed upon them.
