Since I know they're reading this thread, and because my account hasn't been activated over there yet, I'll just post here.
First off, let me welcome you to never get busted  I hope you stay and learn something new.
Secondly, I wasn't even thought of in the 60's or 70's. Calling me "left overs" is uncalled for.
Now to answer your questions, what should the OPD have done? Easy. INVESTIGATE.
Once they start to investigate they would have realized real quick that there was no drugs in there, and the entire situation could have been avoided.
You say your pissed that your tax money is being wasted. Police aren't doing their job. What exactly do you think you're paying for?
Hear me out, I know there are good cops out there and they do protect me. But this isn't about me, and it's not about them. This is about the cops who need to be publicized for their awful actions.

Her father hired KopBusters, a new reality show produced by NeverGetBusted whereby Barry and Candi along with KopBuster detectives set up stings across America to catch crooked Kops.
KopBusters rented a house in Odessa, Texas and began growing two small Christmas trees under a grow light similar to those used for growing marijuana. Instead of performing a proper investigation by gathering probable cause for a search warrant affidavit, the police usually use illegal FLIR cameras and/or lie on the affidavit claiming an informant saw the plants and/or the police could smell marijuana coming from the suspected house.
The trap was set and less than 24 hours later, the Odessa narcotics unit raided the house only to find our attorney waiting under a system of complex gadgetry and spy cameras that streamed online to the KopBusters secret mobile office nearby.
The attorney was handcuffed and later released when eleven KopBuster detectives arrived with the media in tow to question the illegal raid. The police refused to give KopBusters the search warrant affidavit which is suspected to contain lies regarding the probable cause.
The team of eleven freedom fighters wore red "Free Yolanda" shirts as they clashed with the police demanding answers for the illegal raid and drug plant. The police would not comment but later stated they were trying to charge KopBusters with a crime.
It's not illegal to grow plants under a light in your home but it is illegal to lie on an affidavit and plant drugs on a citizen. This operation was the first of its kind in the history of America. Police sometimes have other police investigating their crimes but the American court system has never seen a group of citizens stinging the police. Will the police file charges on the team who took down corrupt cops? We will keep you posted.

This is my first post A big thank you to Barry, Candi and all the gang that took time from their life to help a desperate father in Odessa. God Bless!
The Odessa police Specifically Greg Travland coerced an informant to plant drugs on Yolanda as a personal favor to Joe Commander. The cops committed perjury in Federal Court. The Federal prosecutor (Jackson) new of the perjury. The prosecutor conspired with OPD to violate all our 5th amendment rights.He instructed them not to tape confessions but just have to cops show up to say the suspect confessed.Have OPD document to prove. The Federal judge (Junell) is a nut case. He finds cops credible that testify to physically imposable events. The informant was found credible for state then not credible when he testified that he planted drugs at Travland (OPD) insistence. His findings of fact to not reflect actual testimony. Perjury was committed in that court but prosecutor lied and said he would investigate. He did not investigate because he knew the liars were the police.Both Yolanda and informant took poly graphs that showed no deception. OPD police chief stated we should be glad FEDS will prosecute because police do not need the evidence required by state WOW! would it be great they could convict with no evidence! Hello Russia!
I am committed to clean my town of dirty cops lets all do the same .

i know they wouldnt turn over a copy of the warrant affidavit,,,you gonna try to obtain a copy of that?
ofcourse they have probably already made a new one by now. |

My name is Adam Reposa. I am an Attorney who was hired by Barry Cooper to assist in protecting his property rights during any raid. I was hired to go to the house, read a book for several hours and then leave. After I left the house I was tackeld 200 yards down the street. ODP breached the door and entered the house within 15 hours of recieving what I believe was an anonymous tip. The contact and initial investigations had all occurred before I was even in Ector County, but as best as I can tell that is all the evidence the Police had acquired when they sought a warrant. So either the Judge is signing warrants with no probable cause which is doubtful, or the Affiant made misrepresentations. OPD released me but kept my ID and my cell phone. And to fill in the blanks the logic goes 1. Show cops lied on affidavit 2. Show same pattern in Madden case 3. Get relief in Federal Court. The problem is that the case is 2.5 years old and most if not all of the post-conviction remedies have been exhausted short of a pardon by the U.S. President. I am not the Attorney in Charge and I do not know all of the procedural history or all of the facts but of the little I do know there is cause for ernest concern. The truth is that there is little guidance or structure in the field for narcotics officers and they often cross far afield of their official powers, and when proof of such transegressions is produced it is like pulling teeth to get citizens enamerred of government and authority to give such proof any real meaning. Violations of Constitutional rights are routine in investigations of narcotics dealing. |

If there is a lie on the affidavit and the Kops try to "white it out" then it will appear the judge signed an improper warrant. The judge will not take the heat for the Kops.
If the Kops did not do anything wrong, they have nothing to worry about. If the Judge did nothing wrong, he has nothing to worry about but one of the two should be worrying. |
