A citizen emailed these links to me wanting to know if the police had a new device besides FLIR. I took a peek at the article and photo and replied: It's only FLIR, nothing new! Would you mind to take a look at it? It's over at:

what confuses me is all the flir footage i have seen shows heat as white and coldness as black but that article states the opposite,,ive never seen that heat being shown as black

Ive seen both and color ones. I'm going to start a thread as a sticky just for examples like the one here big grin

Ya i think they can switch which color thy want to show heat.
in some cases it will be easier to see heat as white than black and vice versa.

And making a sticky with flir photos would be helpful.
