has anyone ever made THC olive oil?
Im looking to make some ,,i need my THC in a spray despencer or something like olive oil
im not talking about hash oil that you smoke
my main concern is with potency and how to prepare it properly
google seems to be failing me at this moment,,i may be typing in the wrong thing..if anyone finds the best way to make potent olive oil let me know
OHH hell i just rememberd a hanz and franz video,,i need to go look for that.
i want to make something flavored where i can just take a spray or two and be on my way...
anyway,,if you feel like looking and find something i would be thankfull,,,and it doesnt have to be olive oil but i cant use everclear,,well dont want too,,,i would be taking this with me,,,im so tired of sandwhiches,,im looking to simplify my high without smoking.
im going to flavor it too but havent decided what flavor i want to use,,anyone ever use coconut milk or oil? |

well i may have to end up going with the alcohol extract if i was to use some type of squirt bottle since the oil can turn rancid,,but this oil video is awesome. i may just do this instead then i can put it on anything

im not opposed to using butter but that would have to stay refigerated...i think
maybe not,,im looking to flavor what i end up with,,put in a dark spray bottle,,,take a couple squirts and go about my business
i like orange extract a lot lol,,i was thinking of using that as a flavoring or something.
or liquid Cinnamon,,mmm that sounds awesome,,yeah,,im gonna go with Cinnamon for flavor,,,that hot shit people put on toothpicks
butter turns bad if not refrigerated tho right?
im not a cook really haha
i bet i end up having to use alcohol to extract and then add some flavored water or something

i know of a technique,,,use a pan of water, set a smaller glass jar with the oil and pot mixed into the boiling water and let it boil,,this activates the thc and adheres to the oil...then just have to strain the oil,,,cant remember how long to let it set in the boiling water though.
the water will never get too hot to damage the THC,,but jar cant touch the bottom of the pan |

I'd say butter would be good to use (or butter with a little vodka).. But it would have to be refrigerated.
I know you can use olive oil but I've had canna-olive oil and it wasn't very psychoactive.
If you are going to use an alcohol extract to eat or spray on I would use everclear which is 95%+ alcohol... Be careful tho any alcohol is explosive with heat! Isopropyl alcohol is not good to imbibe and you do not want to make an iso alcohol-extracted/based based spray that you are going to take internally unless all of the iso-alcohol solvent has been removed from the oil (which will make creating a spray potentially difficult, hence using everclear...). You may want to look into what kinds of alcohols they use in sativex...
Also, you could look into making Bhang, but typically they use lottts of grass for making it which is what makes it so potent even though the extraction method is in my opinion inefficient. That could be stored in coffee/soup containers and drunk accordingly.
I've had tea made with leaf (from males! - fems of same variety were high potency Indica, and as per Marijuana Chemistry samples of fems and males have comparable concentrations of cannabinoids), leaves were boiled in water, a small amount of cream added after some boiling (while still boiling) and maybe some spice (cinnamon?)... It was good I liked it alot, but the high didn't last (though with me, eating it never does last and it usually also hits me right away, I don't get that half hour wait to get high shit but I'm not high off it after a half hour of eating lol). |

Going back to the orange flavoring.
Don't fruits create a kind of Sugar Alcohol? If so would The cannabinoids be soluble in that alcohol?
I might be mixing two things up.
Butter might go bad if not refrigerated, since it has lactose in it. Maybe lactose free butter that still has fat could work for you. Maybe? |

i went ahead with the everclear,,just easier,,got a pint tonight,,,im wanting it pretty strong,,,ground up a quarter ounce to fine powder and put it in a half a pint of everclear  woohoo,,,cant wait to see how this goes down
still need an eyedropper bottle and some cinnamon for flavor,,,but i got time ,,prob gonna let it soak for a while..
waste not want not,,after i strain it and let it dry,,ill prob still eat it haha,,cant help myself
which reminds me,,,guys that are using vaporizers,,,man,,if you save the used herb,,grind it up real fine you will find that if you eat it,,( you will need a little more than the average bowl) it will still get you high ,,kinda like 2 for the price of one.
ive read numerous stories of people saving their herb after vaping and eating it later by cooking it and getting high all over again. |

You'll want to stir the container the mixture of everclear and pot is in...
Also, you may ideally have wanted to heat it for 20 mins and gently evaporate the alcohol off after... After so long of just letting it sit the alcohol is going to extract out more of the chlorophyll's and other plant products that you don't want. |

i put prob 2 grams short of a quarter in a half pint of everclear. (small bottle)
pot was intentionally left out to dry..and finely ground up.. im too lazy to mess with the oven,,, and do not like putting plain pot in the microwave...i feel the waves will destroy the THC if theres nothing for it to bind too. (Just my feelings) theres a fine line between just right and too much when dealing with open pot in the microwave so i dont even waste my time.
i know people use oven to decarboxylate their pot,,,but the water bath does good for me. i have a metal screen from my expresso maker that i put in and let the bottle of everclear sit on so it doesnt touch the bottom of the pan. while using an electric stove ofcource being aware of fire hazards.this just speeds up the process for me and lets you use it much faster than waiting weeks,,,screw that.
by decarbing inside the bottle i know the THC hasnt gone anywhere.  and honestly,,3 - 5 minutes of this bath is plenty of time.
let me tell you,,,one small cap of this stuff puts me in a VERY good mood. Two Caps ,,,veddy good party
i LOVE it one cap with about a shot of sprite is what i have used,,couldnt find cinn or suitable bottle..so i just did a shot of sprite with one cap,,,very suitable dose for me. the everclear cannot be tasted,,little bit of pot can.
This Green Dragon,,,Could Turn Spiritual very easily if one is not carefull 
I also find it a more energetic high..way more enrgetic actually,,very strange. |

nope,,didnt want to,,bottles almost full,,one cap in with sprite does good,,should last me quite a while.
just gave it a bath in boiling water for a few minutes.

So, just to make sure I have this correct...
First, you dry the pot and grind it up to a fine dust
Second, you mix the pot in the pint of everclear and boil it in a pot of water on the stove for 3-5 minutes
That's all there is to it? Sounds potent. Almost killer. I think I have to try that. |
