Do they have required stops for drugs such as they do for alcohol?

Firts off welcome man. Keep posting, have fun.
In ohio they call them OVI's. They stop everyone and if you are red eyed sluggish or smell like dope they pull you over to a trailer and take urine and or blood.
I guess they should be able to get your screens somehow. most likely a asshole saying you smell like beer.
This also is Ohio, our laws seem to change by your age, race, and how much money you have. |

Most states have some law or laws that essentially allow this in some way shape or form. Even if its under the guise of a more legitimate purpose such as immigration check points.

The police are looking for signs of intoxication...slurred speech, unbalanced, red eyes, pot and alcohol odors. When they discover these, they then try and confirm their suspicions through blood and breath samples.
The police never have a site set up to test everybody.

here in canada (ontario specifically) the OPP (ontario provincial police/over paid pigs) and our local police run a RIDE program, where they select a section of road and stop all the traffic and check for drunk driving, but if they suspect pot or drugs as well they will pull you off to the side.

yea i avoided one of these once cause they were stupid enough to set it up by a heavily used freeway exit.I just got on the freeway with about 3 other cars.Usually they will chase you if you try to turn around or avoid,in this case it would be hard to tell.
