yeah i got motivated in another thread and now I'm curious how much do you pay for your bud on average?
prices around here.
half oz. $20-$30
oz. $40-$60
Qp.$125-$160
Lbs.$300-$500
best i ever bought was in dallas, $60 an oz. the guy pulled it out of a wal mart bag and the stem was as thick as one of those giant novelty pencils.but it was completely worth it because it was COVERED in big green buds. and he took the stems weight into consideration when he weighed, that's always cool. |

Prices generally depend on a few factors, thusly being quality, quantity, and who you know to hook you up.
Middies can vary in prices more than anything it seems to me, depending on how close to the border one is getting it.
In general it seems to me that the wholesale price for mids is about 100 a pound, then with the addition of middlemen and the application of distance from the border it eventually finds its way up to 1000 a pound, with street dealers peddling off the ounces at 100 or so an ounce once the drugs have been distributed out from the wholesale level to the user level, with $20 for a eighth not being that bad.
For Canadian mass produced bud such as beasters and outdoors, prices start at 1000 a pound or cheaper at the wholesale level and by the time they make it across the border increase to 2700 to 3200, and by the time they get broken down ounces range from 180 to 250 an ounce, depending on inflation along the line, and cost about 35-50 an eighth depending again on quality (shitty wet beasters? 35 an eighth, sexy kiefy beasters, 40-45) and whos hooking you up. Other strains of Canadian bud like Northern lights people may try and charge 40 to 60 an eighth.
Generally anything homegrown indoors is 40-60, usually in the 50-60 end. Sexy outdoors is generally the same. Again wholesale prices for pounds of kind bud vary, depending on who wants to charge you what for how much, but expect to pay 3000-5000 for premo bud unless you are getting the hookup. |

For Mexi-weed:
$60 an oz if its a little stemmy and seedy. (my produce inspector is particular about the brick s/he gets)
$8o if it happens to be seedless(or near so) and smell good with near dank quality.
For stuff like Ak-47 and Purple Kush:
$20 a gram if your buying user amounts.
Around $15 a gram for strong that aint quite so strong.
All in all as stated by others, price dependent on a lot of factors.
My green grocer has particular "high" preferences so is quite subjective when referencing the quality of the high of a particular strain or sack. This effects the pricing scheme.(Sometimes to my delight)
Also consider at what position between grower and dime-bag dealer you are.

i pay around $140 to $160 for an oz of good midi. i've gotten good nug for $280 an oz. exotic bud is normally never around. when it is i can only get a grizzle for $25. i think i need to move down south or somethin'!  |
