Does he buy it online? I know its cheaper and better quality online. The headshop here sells it expensive. |

Please please research your state laws as I know some states have made it a crime to possess salvia with very stiff penalties. I believe I read it on the NORML website and if I can find the story I will post a link to it here. They arrested a man who had ordered it online and MAY have been growing it. Can't remember that part, but he had no idea it was illegal so he was not real worried about being discreet. Busted and facing like 35 years in prison. He was middle aged if I recall and this is basically a life sentence. How sad any of us still face this ! There is a way to end all this nonsense, we just have to do it !! If I had as much smarts as I do passion, I would figure this all out. Somewhere there is an answer, we just have to find it.

Dont worry, you dont talk too much at all. I like your posts, I'd rather you type more than enough to read than just half ass writing and incohherent crap like a lot of the people on other forums.
Anyway as pertaining to what you said, Sure thing. Theres a few states that have it illegal, but Texas has it legal, and people are doing a lot to keep it legal. |

I was in Houston in February 2007 to visit my mother for a week or so and I had researched to a fairly certain conclusion that Salvia was legal in Texas. I tried several times to try to locate a source in Houston to purchase some but never did. Came home empty handed.
In January of 2008, I again was in Houston but unfortunately it was a medical emergency with my mother and for the 3 weeks I was there with her in the hospital, I had very very little time to try to locate some, only this time I was not sure if it was still legal, so I was a little leery of asking around much.
Good luck Texas in your battle to keep it free. I might be back in Texas before this life is over and I would love a chance to try it without worrying about legal issues.

now what I have read,most of the states that have made it illegal,have not made it illegal to grow as decoration,just for consumption.........one of those laws that kinda shoot it selves in the foot.just a thought,I was also wondering if the salvia I can buy at wally world,is the same stuff?  |

| A while back I got busted growing weed.The cops that arrested me told me I should be growing salvia since its legal in our state.Well,I didn't even know what salvia was.In jail a few inmates told me the same thing.So soon as I was released I looked up salvia online.I thought I'd tried every drug known to mankind,and didn't wanna leave one untested.Me and the boss lady ordered up some 10x salvia.OK.Of all the stuff I've tried,nothing comes close to this stuff.I reckon every stoner should try it.But it ain't for everybody.Stuff don't do much at all to my 25 year old son.But holy shit,I went to the "spirit world".The wife won't touch it after seeing what it did to me.I'm talkin bout full blown freaky.But that's just me.I don't like it.I've tried it 3 different times;every time is bad for me.Like a bad acid trip,that lasts bout 10 min.I'm thinking it could be downright dangerous under the right(or wrong) circumstances.Anyhow,you can see lots of people tripping on salvia on you tube.They seem to like it pretty good.And by the way,its the 'salvia divinorum' plant that'll get ya high.Apparently salvia has several subspecies that won't.Betting the wally world type is,uh,impotent.If ya try this stuff,be careful.I think the salvia itself is safe,but what you might do while you're trippin could be embarassing if not unsafe. Yeah. thats right. A jet flame lighter is best.
I did some last night with my wife and friends. Still fucking creepy as hell for me but everyone else enjoyed it. My brain must be wired differently. |

Weed is the one thing I use on a regular basis, and like for that matter. Salvia was an amazing experience but not something I would want to do often, It was more like a one time thing to try, It was fun, but way to crazy I would not want to do it reguraly, I would definitely want everyone to try it just once for the experience, you got to smoke it right though. Every now and then I'll take a Valium to chill out but I don't pop pills. I brewed my own Absinthe and tried it, It was fun, good, but very bitter tasting (your supposed to dilute it w/ sugar, and even then it was way to bitter for me.
I would love to try shrooms and acid though. Ecstacy I would probably try also but first those two. No hard drugs in my opinion, I would love them to much lol and get myself in too much trouble, I'm still a responible trippy drug kind of guy lol. |
