Are any of you victims of the war on Weed? In what way?
Ive personally never been arrested for drugs or Weed.
I know a surprising number of people who have never been arrested for pot. At least compared to ones I know who have. I would have to say only maybe 1 out of ten people i have ever known that smoke regularly has ever gotten arrested for pot. |

| I've never been in trouble for cannabis, I live in a small town. They tend to be pretty easy on people around here, unless your out flaunting it then your going to get busted. |

I have never been caught, but we are all the victims of the war on weed.
"Whether it be running around like a fucking criminal to find a place to smoke, having to deal with people looking down on us because of the negative stigma associated with cannabis users, or having to look over our shoulders just to make sure we aren't about to get fucked by the long dick of the law, we are all victims of the war on marijuana." - me |

I was an irresponsible young man driving home(completely sober) from a small get together at 4A.M.-ish with a nice personally blown pipe and what should have been a quarter(I was ripped off and thank god).
The cops asked me if I had any "bazookas or machetes" in my trunk. |

Antifa, thats one i never heard but i beleave you, LOL WOW.
Bazookas or Machetes. maybe it was his cop tactics, he wanted your response and then he added it up in his head 'profiling'. did you have a towel on your head like you just washed it. 'profiling' 'tactics'.

I seriously couldn't believe it.. After that he said that there'd been some robberies in Frisco (which was like 6 or 7 miles away at the least) and that I fit a description.
The cop that pulled me over and did the search, had me sit down on the sidewalk.. I was completely respectful and polite.. I think I was at the scene for like an hour or so "in their custody" before they finally arrested me. During this time the officer called two other squad cars over and to my surprise all they did was shoot the shit with eachother. They made fun of me and my car alot too.. It was like I was pulled over by the stereotypical rich kids or the jocks from some bad 80's teen movie.
My car(at the time) was an old Taurus that had the hood ornaments ripped off. I have a sense of humor about everything so I thought it would be funny to put on some replacement BMW emblems.
I should have known better than to drive around west Plano with a crappy car.
I do have a little bit of an olive complexion but you would never have me figured for a pot head if I didn't have long hair (which I always have tied back). I'm pretty well groomed and you'll rarely see me wearing t-shirts. |

But a friend not to long ago got busted for walking around neighborhoods by his school.

I went to a public high school in north Texas(close to ten years ago), we had random K-9 searches during classes.. The school district would often stress the word random to the community.. However, as a student I noticed they were quite frequent. This was very convenient for the police since their station was right next door. A good quickie bust for them. They'd have us line up outside in the hallway and have the dog walk by us then they'd leave us with an officer and go inside and walk around.
Glad I was too paranoid to carry anything at school.
Edit: As a matter of fact I recall being in Elementary school in the late 80's/early 90's and having K-9's come in occasionally I had no idea what they were for at the time. Granted I lived in an area of Houston that had a huge market for crack but I don't recall them ever taking any children away.
This is what the war on drugs is.. I'm all about having an officer on campus to serve and protect students from things like sexual assault, fights and shootings.. But searching elementary school children for rocks? |

| Got busted recently.I knew the risk in what I was doing,so I can't really call myself a victim,(more like a casualty).Compared to a lot of people,I got treated fairly well. However,I now have 2 felonies, lost my home,my wife lost her job,and we each have a $22,000 'illegal substance tax' bill.Plus,we have a probation officer that's half our age overseeing us and drug testing us regularly. It's amazing,I been in this world 46 years, and now I need a kid to supervise me.Figured I'd be about 80 befor that happened. Byrdman, thats a good example of what prohibition is doing to our country, the police act like communist, the DEA thinks they are untouchable with there billion dollor budget and they take our homes,
f-up our lives and break up families. this nonsense has to stop.
America has to wake up!!
peace & pot |

I was at a friends house with like 12 people. Everyone parked in front of the house. There were just 3 of us who were smoking(The owner of the house, His brother, and Myself). The rest of the people were doing lines, and drinking. Munchies kicked in, and so I decided to go home. I gathered the rest of the bud I brought over, and went walking home. 2 hours later I got a phone call from the owner of the house saying that he is moving to oklahoma because 30 minutes after I left Swat came in and busted down the doors and everyone got arrested. He got a bail bond for $30,000 and was going to leave to go live with his cousins in Mexico.
I was paranoid for the next 3 months....... |
