This is actually my second encounter, after getting a possession ticket in September of 2007.
On March 14, 2008 a buddy of mine and I were driving to a college town in our state with marijuana on us. While taking detours to get away from traffic, his car brokedown on a busy on-ramp. While pushing his car, a state trooper pulled up on an island separated by two lanes with his car parked facing away from us. He got out and asked where we were heading. My friend answered, and the cop walked to the passenger-side of the car, and took a whiff. He asked if we were smoking, and my friend answered 'Yes'. The cop asked us to give him all our paraphenalia, and we cooperated. I had over a half oz. on me, and my friend gave up a few grams. He asks for ID and heads to the car. He gives us our tickets without us signing them, and leaves. (My court hearing is May 8th.)
The cop did not offer to help us, he just left. The cop did not protect and serve us; we could have been injured or killed sitting on that on-ramp. |

| File a complaint with you rlocal police department, then the city then call the newspaper and write a letter to the editor more people would like for you to be safe on the road. At least it could have been brought to someones attention. You know? |
