| I was half way through a blunt yesterday when an idea occured to me for a device that would allow for fool proof trafficking. The device would consist of a container with a removable divider laying horizontal midway up the container. Below the divider would rest chemicals capable of quickly and thoroughly desolving cannabis (I'll leave it up to a chemist to determine which chemicals those are). The top section of the divider would be for cannabis or whatever illegal substance one wishes to transport. In the case of a search the insert could be removed and the evidence would be destroyed. Are such devices used? If not, then is there a reason why this would not work? |

They would just back-track whatever chemical soup was left, to find what its constituents were. Or, Mass Spectrometry can tell you every element in a sample.
Destroying evidence would net you more time if caught.
Cost of "Self Destruct Device" and space used would inflate the transportation costs greatly.
Now, if you have an idea for a user amount device, I feel that merits potential investigation.
Also, any chemicals you could use to quickly alter or destroy plant materials, tend to be strong acids or alkaline substances. Dangerous to contain and the resulting vapors of acid interactions can be toxic. |

If your able to make the left over illicit materials into a gas or vapor, they wouldnt be able to find what it use to be.
If the vapors are toxic the first one gonna smell is the cop lol no worries |

That could get you into trouble. |

what if your driving an old car as most do,,n have something in your pocket to trigger a fire n burn the whole damn thing down..
just a random thought i doubt it would work most cops have fire extinguishers but i thought it was a funny thought,,have an excellerant n if the shit gets too deep just hit the trigger and watch the car burn up like a rocket
"ok im gonna get a dog overhere theyll be here shortly" ok "click" WOOOOF wtf? LOL
id be like i dont know everytime my car hears the word DOG it just catches on fire.
i was thinking about this if you were transporting large amounts.
ok i guess that was a useless thought but entertaining to myself none the less  |

I thought of a "stash flusher" whereby a small amount is positioned in a device that when triggered, dumps and flushes down the toilet!

Magnesium!
I used to work at a magnesium casting plant. If anyone knows anything about magnesium it is extremely reactive. It's the only metal that burns. Magnesium shavings ignited by something as simple as a few sparks will burn anything and everything to the ground. One of the biggest problems with vehicle fires is the magnesium steering column, which when ignited makes things very complicated for fire crews. Simple reason is because you can't put it out with water. That in fact makes the reaction extremely violent, and worse for those trying to eliminate it. The only way the magnesium will stop burning is if you let it go till it dies, or take away the oxygen. So if it came down to some device to burn down a car that would be the way to go. Police do not have the fire extinguishers capable of putting out a magnesium fire. It takes a special type of extinguisher.
*Edit* It sucks I used to have a lot of scrap magnesium but got rid of it. Point being I could have shown some pictures of what it's like to burn magnesium. Used to show people all the time. Extremely bright (like looking at the sun in midday) and hotter than hell. |

limburger you hit on something! I went through training with a volunteer fire department. Until they found out about my back. Anyway I believe there are some european cars that have large components made out of magnesium.
A stashbox made out of magnesium in some piece of crap car old european car. Suspend the stash in a ventilated compartment above mag shavings, add an igniter and you have a wicked way to avoid a bust. The fire departments do not even attempt to put out a magnesium fire, they let 'em burn out. Bad things happen when you put water on magnesium fires. The only way to put them out is with a special fire exinguisher powder, and a lot of it. It would incinerate, and vaporize any "evidence".
"Wow thanks for stopping me and warning me that my car was on fire officer!" lol

Yeah with a stash in some containment system it would be very effective. With magnesium and the temperature it burns, it would be a matter of seconds and not minutes for the stash to be destroyed.
I don't know how many of you have seen magnesium burn but it's like watching fireworks. When our casting machines made a bad connection to the injection nozzle we would get something we called a "flashback". Basically the hot molten magnesium would shoot through the bunk seal and light the whole back of the machine up. Extremely dangerous due to the temperature this stuff burns. I remember my buddy walked up behind my machine right as I went to make a shot and the nozzle was not sealed. Luckily the flashback was not as elaborate as normal but he suffered severe burns to his face and neck. This was from very minimal amounts of the material. |
