First heard of this company http://www.correctionscorp.com/while being held in one of their facilities in Leavenworth, KS. This was during the time the Oklahoma bombing took place.
Inmates were following the rise of this new public wonder and actually invested money in the place which was housing them. These men smiled at me with pride for the financial decision they had made. It made me sick then and still does. This was what made me take notice that something was wrong with people and not drugs.
I also met a man named Sam Day at this time.

This was my wake up call or epiphany if you will, that something was very wrong in our country and I was just becoming aware of it.
