Simplistic topic ne? just want everyones views and feelings on marijuana laws and why. it's easy to say "so i can get stoned in peace" but it's deeper than that and we all know it.
I Can't be the only one who see's that the "war on drugs" causes more terror than it does ease minds/ make peoples lives better. i still remember a few months ago, and a few years ago, hearing that "smoking marijuana is a terrorist act" and instantly seeing propganda and bullshit. these laws are set out to ruin lives really.
I have no criminal record, don't own a gun or even a knife. i have a job and plan to go to college. i want to write and direct movies as well as work on my own web comics (soon as i can get a story i'm happy with)
and the most violent thing i do is play videogames. i've never used meth, coke, crack, heroin, extasy, acid or shrooms, though i want to try shrooms. i smoke a cig maybe once a month and drink even less than that. do i really deserve to go to jail just for a bit of bud?
theres also the medical side of things. i do have anxiety and depression problems but rather than go to a doctor and get popped full of expensive pills i can smoke a bowl and be happy, be social, be me. i also have a friend who is like a brother to me. a few years ago we found out he had lupus. he is constantly in pain if he dosnt toke. they've offered him pills for his pain but he hates pills, he already has to take 5 or so a day just to stay alive and hates doing that.
I just want to be seen for what i am, a happy creative person who tokes and has a dream in life. not a criminal lowlife evil drug using hippy blah blah blah (insert more random cliches here )
sorry my post was so long, it's been on my mind for a while and probably incoheirant ^^; yep, this is me sober. |

Keeping pot illegal just shows how corrupt our country really is. The cancer companies who make millions on anti naseua pills and other chemo relief pills. If pot was legalized there profits would go way down.
I've even heard rumors of politicians taking bribes from large crime networks to keep it illegal im not sure if this is true or not.
Secondly, it shows that we are not a free country. |

Marijuana laws were brought about on lies, and racism.the time you get for possessing a plant, deffinatly don't match the crime.
I have smoked the herb for 30 years, don't drink alcohol,or ANY other drug. I am an otherwise law abiding citizen.I have in my younger days tried, acid, shrooms, coke, alcohol, whipits, and speed.but the ONLY 2 vices I have, are cigarettes, and Marijuana. |
