I've flown a ton in my 20 years and never saw a dog in an airport until the past few months. Because of terror threats there are agents with dogs doing rounds in the hallway. Often times i'm flying back home from college or from college to somewhere else.
At college I blaze frequently and often indoors. And i'm a guy so its not like I have that many clothes and i don't wash them after every wear. I have this fleece that I wear all the time and I always wear it while traveling (takes up too much space in my bag and planes are cold).
So anyway, ive now been in close proximity to many dogs on patrol. The dogs briskly walk the halls and sniff any bag within reach.
The first time i saw a dog making rounds my heart dropped - id been smoking in the same clothes that morning and my carry on bag has carried green before (its my every day backpack). I've never actually taken green on a plane but i sure as hell have smelled like it. But i just didnt want the embarassment and hassle of an alert/search.
Moral of the story, the dog never alerts or even takes notice. The TSA is not looking for some hippy's personal ounce. They're looking for bombs.
Bringing a pound or two is a different story. Simply logistics. I'd love to put a brick in my carry on or check in but i'm not trusting my freedom to the xray (btw, Barry, how easy is it to look at bud in those xrays and identify it? - as opposed to, say, tea leaves..)
I suppose if you wore a convincing fat suit or fake beer gut you could transport quite a lot.... |

i have left AMSTERDAM stoned and smelling the pot but i would never take any pot on a plane. i'd rather be SAFE than SORRY.
just think if i had 1/4 oz hydro 'the best' and i wanted to bring some home. we'll if i got cought with 1/4 oz at airport, well first i'm going to jail and may-be trafficking/smuggeling charges, may-be prison for 3 to 5 years with probation. when i could of stayed safe and just went home.
and its all to do with the terror and war, sadly
