| The most screwed up thing is these PSAs have been proven not only ineffective, but to inspire curiosity to try drugs. I think it was Rand Corp or some other think tank who crunched the numbers and with an unbiased opinion, that the propaganda is viewed as false info by the target audeince. Unfortunately that also means people think other drugs have been lied about, and find out the hard way that the real drugs do bad things to you. |

Correct my friend! The Republicans touted that would verify the tough new drug policies effectiveness. Ha!
I was in prison when the Rand Report came out. Some of the wealthier inmates even ordered the monstrocity. Everyone thought that in the face of such information the govt would back down its harsh sentencing practices for drug offenses. They kept the report buried as well as they could and still managed to elect another Republican war monger on the get tough stance. Crazy shit. |
