thats how i felt the other night when i got pulled over after downing a few and munchin a scooby snack,,the nice DPS officer allowed me to pass go and collect 200 dollars,,i had to use my get out of jail free card though,,so thats like a cat with one less life

i dont know why i posted this ,,feelin funky i suppose

How about being responsible and just not driving after "downing a few and munching a scooby snack"? I have to say that this is the area where I part ways with many on this forum. As a cop I disagree with our draconian drug laws, but it burns me up to see so many on this forum casually talk about drinking and/or smoking and driving.

I have worked many a wreck involving drunks AND smokers and it pisses me off. In this day and age there is no excuse for driving under the influence of anything. It is dangerous to the general public and incredibly selfish on the part of those that do it.

I guess I'm just tired of pulling bodies from cars or sending people away in ambulances because drunks and stoners are too selfish to give a damn about other people.

My feelings exactly. I hate the thought of impaired driving. No one has the right to play god and kill some poor family all because someone couldn't control themselves. People making remarks like that on this board is just defeating the purpose for which it was created.

One reason i am such a supporter or marijuana is because i hate alcohol. For two reasons Drinking and driving i've lost many friends this way, and all were closed caskets, second the the addiction, can turn a totally amiable person into a hellish fiend.

Although smoking and driving is not a good idea, everyone knows that sometimes you just have to leave for various reasons, but when your high you are more aware and more conscious than being drunk.

People who drink and drive need to wake up! I used to do that until I realized that your putting other peoples lives at risk..

My friend literally got into 3 accidents and still drove drunk until they got into the 4th and flew out of the car one friend went into the river the other landed on the road and the other stayed in

Point is although all are alive the driver permanantely lost an arm and can never use it again! And just imagine kids growing up without parents because some dude killed them driving drunk.Grrrr not cool.

hey folks, it was a JOKE! A play on words,,and quite frankly im not the one who started the game as it was refered to in the original post,,why do you think the GOVT changed it from

what i get a kick out of is these hollier than thou responses,,yes including you narcdet and ill tell you why,,you know who doesnt drive impaired?

people who dont drive thats who! i dont care if you havent had enough sleep,,i dont care if your on medication,,i dont care if your drinking coffee or coke or talkin on your damn cell phone or smoking a ciggerette, plus many more impaired actions.

so which one of these are ANY of you NOT guilty of? (narcdet?) all of you that drive have done atleast one and will continue to do it! you gotta be kidding me.

but your right i cant believe someone would play God and put their makeup on or deal with a baby while an 18 wheeler is driving up their ass with flammable explosives,,just doesnt make sense to me either?

People who do ALL of these should be "responsible" and "wake up" shouldnt they! No?

now about me,,i didnt say i was three sheets to the wind swirving all over the place and truth be known i probably could have passed the physical field sobriety test but as you (narcdet) know if the eye test was performed they probably could have took me in and made me blow them! i have no idea what it woulda been.

look its a short life for sure,,some people take it way too serious in all aspects,,,some dont take too much serious at all haha

you see some people come to these forums for a little entertainment and learning experiences,,its a two way street you see some provide entertainment and some provide learning experiences.

you may not like the entertainment but what have we learned today?! lol

concider my threads or post like a box of chocolates,,you just never know which ones will have the cream in them and squirt you all over you face. wink

Mr. C, perhaps you are not aware of the logical flaw in pointing out other wrongs that people do to take attention away from yours..it's called a red herring, and it's quite obvious.

However, you did ask what horrible things I have done while driving, and I have to admit to drinking a soda in the car. I don't talk on the cell phone while driving, I pull over if I need to take or make a call. I don't drive while tired or sleepy because, like alcohol and drugs, I have seen how that causes accidents as well. To say that drinking a soda causes one to be driving "impaired" is ridiculous, and I think anyone reading this post, other than you, will recognize your claim for what it is, an attempt by you to pretty much make everyone that has ever driven a vehicle "impaired" by your standards just like you, thereby absolving you of your responsibility as a driver. I'm just curious, with your exceedingly liberal defition of impaired what is the point of the word?

I'm all for tasteless humor, in fact, I find it pretty funny. However, you weren't joking in your post, you were making light of the fact that you "got away" with driving impaired. Big difference. However, you are indeed free to post whatever you want, and, like you, I won't apologize for making my feelings known either.

my definition of impaired would be anything that takes 2 hands off the steering wheele or your eyes of the road along with anything that takes your mind of the road,,ive seen people who go through a bad break up with their girlfriend/boyfriend that absolutely should not be driving

i CANNOT make this up,,i find it humerous that you dont think a coke while driving doesnt impaire your abilities,,just this last year 2007 the company i work for had 2 drivers wreck while drinking a coke and coincidently had 2 other drivers wreck while eating a burrito,,thats their story and they stuck to it.

do me a favor ok,,next time your involved in any high speed chase pick your drink up and chase the guy with one hand on the wheel. let me know how it goes.

now i must concede,,i was making light of the fact that i got away with it,,i wont bore you with the penalties for DWI because im sure your aware of them,, but HELL YEAH,,to me,,knowing how that would change my life getting arrested for that,,your totally correct i was celebrating getting away with it in a joking manner,,,

anyway,,in a small moment of clarity i find this entire thread somewhat amusing,,we are on a forum discussing topics related to breaking the law,,but some things SEEM off topic.."this isnt the forum for that",,"this sets back our movement" or however it was phrased

now i can hear some say well what we mean is we dont condone actions that would harm others,,well,,,neither do i !

now Barry created this forum,,for whatever purpose is in his own mind,,Now in HIS own words he DOES condone legalizing ALL drugs,,however marijuana is just the main topic most of the time,,,

NEWS FLASH!!!!! DRUGS KILL PEOPLE!!! Yep,,They Sure do. im not talking about marijuana,,im talking about DRUGS, hard drugs ,from heroin to alcohol and all in between,,so if your for legalizing ALL drugs, what exactly do you condone?

I in no way have ever laid judgement on others for not respecting the whole "inner monologue, outter monologue" but this is just rediculous.

One day i'm hanging out with some friends at a public event and I overhear a guy telling his friend a joke. It went something like this. "You know what the hardest thing about eating bald p***y is? Getting the diaper off." I never thought I could be so disgusted by another persons "so-called joke". You are on the same boat. I want you to do something. Look a couple post up and take a good look at that picture. Now you might not have even taken a look at it because I suspect you were more obsessed about what your next move on this thread was going to be. You should be in her shoes. People like you disgust me. You are so self absorbed and don't give two shits about what anyone else might think about your "bragging".

Your using this as an example of impaired driving? 75% of my time driving is with one hand on the wheel. My driving record is spottless. No wrecks no tickets. Wow, you are just digging down to the bottom of the barrel! Yeah because any responsible adult in a high speed chase is going to leasurly pick up a coke. Are you actually serious with this? This isnt even realistic.

I'm about half way through your last post on this thread but to be honest I don't think I need to continue. People like you ARE the people that barry talks about who are the crazy ones who hinder THE MOVEMENT. Mr.C you are so misdirected and probably have some things to say that could be of great use to yourself and others. Instead, you waste your time comming up with witty remarks to challenge all who disagree with you.
